Busy day in the kitchen.  My daughter, boyfriend, and I made pot stickers this afternoon, about 65 or so.  Then dinner was homemade broccoli cheese soup.  Yum!  Pot stickers are in the freezer for later meals when I come home from work and don't have the energy to cook.

I don't have a problem with it and I think it's a good idea.

I don't even think they should have to ask, if you are sick/hurt do you really want someone else to be sick because they were trying to help you. If you had hepatitis, hiv or something like that and didn't know it, wouldn't you want to know so you could get treatment? People are weird.

  When you live in Indiana you can't say anything about the weather.     It might snow tomorrow.

Taking the rest of the summer off, didn't want to, but push came to shove.  Back in 2003 I twisted my left ankle pretty bad, but didn't think much of it at the time.  Had it X-rayed, but didn't find anything.   As time went on it kept getting more troublesome, finally to the point of surgery.  I wanted to wait until winter, but it got to where I could walk very little.  So yesterday the good doctor and staff at Ortho Indy performed a fusion of my heel and ankle.  Basically they ran two lag bolts from the back of my heel at an angle into my ankle bone.  No more twisting side to side, and no more bone rubbing against bone.  It does not hurt at all so far.  I may have some minor pain as the nerve block wears off, but I no longer have the deep throbbing from my heel.  Now I wait until October before I'm able to put full weight on it. As it was I wasn't getting to do things I wanted, so there was no advantage in waiting.
