What do you do with your jalapenos?

Locutus for years working in Indianapolis I go to Church's chicken at dinner time and order three thighs and three jalapenos and a coke.  I would eat the jalapenos with the chicken and I just loved it.  I am going to eat these jalapenos the same way.  Just some good fried chicken and jalapenos and probably a coke.   :drool2: :drool1: :food12:   :trustme:

I don't recall another moment within my lifetime, when two beloved Americans have had competing funeral/memorial services held on the same day; when both passed separately and not within the same event.

Sen. John McCain and Aretha Franklin; honor, service, and music, entertainment, each represented in it's finest on this planet, both being laid to rest. . .

Tis a sad day in this nation. . .  :'(

So many times I've seen chances disappear
I hesitate and watch them slip away
Like the time I fail to spend with the ones I love
And it's gone as sure as yesterday
All these users and fakers, big time takers
Manipulating everyone they see
I get caught up in their schemes and their useless dreams
And the only one I have to blame is me
I get turned `round and twisted, pulled left and right
I can see where I'm goin', but I can't see the light

My great granddaughter gave me a real hug last weekend. It was the first one!  She was three in September an is non verbal autistic. She has made a lot of progress the last few months, especially with eye contact, smiling, following simple directions and eating.

Thank you. She is a beautiful little girl. Of course, she is my great granddaughter so I might be just a little prejudiced!😁

I was watching the news and there was a man whose son was killed in the night club in CA last night. He talked about his first born son and how his other children need their big brother. It was heart wrenching.

Far too many mass shootings in this country.

I agree, there are to many shootings. It is not the guns that do it.  It is the crazy people that are among us doing the shootings.  If they didn't have guns they can use many other things to cause death to innocent people. Like cars, trucks, gasoline, knifes and of course the really big item of death lately, Pipe Bombs.  Thanks to Trump.

The lawyers shut down the insane asylums and those people, they became the homeless people on the streets and in the prisons.  The Marine who did the shooting in the bar had PTSD, just read about PTSD.  A huge number of soldiers that have committed suicide over the last years was because of PTSD,  He most likely could not get medical treatment at the VA.

Question, just what can we do about it.  We know that the Republicans won't spend a dime to help the problem.  :huh1:
