Political correctness is, at times, ridiculous. In the medical field a couple things stand out to me. I had some lab work done a couple months ago and was asked if any hospital staff came in contact with my body fluids could they test it for diseases. When I worked at the hospital almost all patients were tested for disease (stds, th, etc.) as part of the admission process. I think this mostly changed because of the aids spread. It was treated as more of a social problem than a medical one. The new one is during patient registration in NM the patient is given a paper asking what their gender was at birth and which gender they identify with. The reason given for the paper is it is evidently too sensitive to ask aloud. Absolutely ridiculous, imo. Another stupid thing is leaderless birth certificates. End of rant.

Gave in and got a Roku and I think we're really gonna like it. Just about finished getting it all set with things we like to watch and the movies, music videos and other things we normally watch will be much cheaper than DirectTV which we plan on getting rid of. Probably won't be watching much of the PPV stuff 'cause there's so many other things open to watch. So far we're up to a whole $20 a month which is much less expensive than DTV. Downside is we will have to keep comcrap for the Wifi. Oh well, can't have everything I guess.
