Very strange indeed.

BTW, Telly Savalas??  How old are you?     ;D

Reruns of the Twilight Zone on SyFY!     It was in black and white, a bit before my time.

Locutus

Yeah, Telly was before my time too for the most part.  ;D

Except for Kojak reruns.

;D

Didn't he always suck on a lollipop or something?  What was up with that?

Yep!  A lollipop was always in his mouth.   It helped with his crime fighting instincts.  ;D

Just like Colombo was always wearing this coat.  ;D  Didn't matter whether he was inside or out.  He always had the coat.

See?

Yeah, saw something in his mouth in the other picture.  Looked like a lollipop stick.

Ah, I liked Colombo. And Peter Falk. Thinking about him makes me think of a movie he was in -- The Princess Bride. That's one I probably wouldn't have watched, but one day an ex-Marine and co-worker recommended it when we were talking about favorite movies. So I watched it and it was delightful. I guess you'd call it a fairy tale about true love for adults. Peter Falk plays an older man reading the story to his grandson.

I haven't ever seen that one.  Must be a chick flick.

That movie was so good!  Cary Elwes wrote a book about the production of the movie.  Very interesting stories in it about the movie and the actors.
