Just got a call on my cell phone from some robotic voice claiming to be from the IRS, and saying they were getting ready to initiate action against me.

A quick Google of the number turned up as an IRS scam.

LOL!  Ok, I'll have to agree with everyone else on this!

For anyone who missed watching American Pharoah win the Triple Crown this weekend, you can find the full race at this link:

Have you seen the link where they compared Secretariat and American Pharoah. Secretariat would have still won but Secretariat was a beast, he had a larger heart than most race horses!

Duh, stupid we all know that but in the comparison video, Secretariat would still have won, if alive today. Do you always wake up an ass or does it come natural?

My guess is that when the necropsy is performed on AP, it will find that horse's heart is also much larger than the average horses. (In fact today they only need to do an MRI to determine if this is a condition possessed by any horse; and sometimes they actually do).

That has been true of a number of champion thoroughbreds: Pocahontaus, Eclipse, Princequillo, War Admiral, Blue Larkspur, La Troienne, Citation, Sea Biscuit,Man O War, John Henry, and Seattle Slew. But it is not just a larger heart that gives these horses the edge, but the stamina they inherit from their respective bloodlines; some of which are shared in many of these examples.

Yes, I wish they would retire him after the Breeder's. The longer he races, the chances are great for injury, and diminishing his viability as a stud. That is what happened with Assault, they raced him longer after his win and he never got any mares pregnant. Of course, they could do a frozen sperm and guarantee live foal but it is still a gamble. American Pharoah is valid at over $100 million and he could command stud fees as high as $14 million!

I don't think AI's are allowed; pretty sure they have to be actual live breedings.

Probably so, I know that some do it but in Thoroughbred racing, they probably want to make sure it is the actual stud doing the breeding!

Yup!  They have to be witnessed as well.
