Man. The Indianapolis 500 will not be the same this year. Dario Franchitti is out due to a forced retirement after his horrific wreck in Houston last year. Dan Wheldon is dead; also due to a horrific wreck. . .

Ar least Dario is driving the pace car this year though!

My dog has really got the best of me.  We NOW have a routine of him snuggling up on the couch EVERY night as we watch a little TV together.  He ADORES this time with me, as I do him.  He thinks he is a lap dog, but he is pushing 90lbs.  He has become a huge part of this family.  He loves my kids and is very protective of them. He gets very nervous when I get one of my kids down to wrestle around with them.  He follows me around like my shadow when I am there.  I look forward to waking in my front door after work for him to greet me.  If I am cooking, he is there.  If I am out in my garage to work on something he is there.  If I go to my basement to put salt in the softener, he is there with me.

This is how my dog sees himself:

That is how my Australian Shepherd sees himself but in actuality, he is a bad ass dog- my Aussie is. Had some dumbass asked when the dog was barking and growling at him what would happen if he put his hand over the fence and I said you should ask yourself if it is your lucky day!!

Exterminator

LOL @ bad ass Aussie!  No offense intended but I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that my definition of, "bad ass," and, "protective," are probably quite a bit different from those of the general public.
