Thanks, PH.  Why anyone would want to raise and train a dog like this is something most people will never understand.  I freakin' love it!

I completely understand. I wish I had the time to devote to such a training regimen with my dog. . . Maybe one day. . .

I'm sorry Duke. That rely sucks. Been there, done that, swore I'd never do it again, and I lied. Several times.

It is exactly like losing a member of the family; because it IS losing a member of the the family. It sucks and there is just no way around it. But the reason I've decided to bring another dog into my life each and every time, is because my life is not the same without one.

Each one is different and they bring such joy to our lives. Unconditional love. You don't get that anywhere else.  :smitten:

I know what you mean. My other pit lived to be 14 and when he passed it really hurt but I knew he lived a good long life. On the other hand I adopted Ole' Girly in 2008 and she was 4 at the time. She was in great health until the first of this year and within 2 months cancer had riddled her body but not her spirit. She was 9.5 years old but was very fit  and in great shape and I felt she was robbed of a few good years but that's life sometimes.
By a strange twist of fate I just adopted another pitbull/boxer/ whatever  female. She fits right in with us and is going to be a great addition to the family.

Best regards,
Duke (if I'm in the company of animal lovers I'm in the company of good folks) Jupiter

Good morning world.

It's a rainy day and the sound of the raindrops on the roof of my stall, seduced me into sleeping far longer than I normally would have.  :spooked:

That and the whole exhaustion / insomnia cyclic thingy. . .

I was due for an ugrade on a cell phone and I got the HTC Supermax, it is up there with the Note 3!!! I couldn't decide between the 2 but both are awesome. I prefer any of them over an iPhone but I am not an iPhone fan!! Lol

Morning all! Hoping everyone's Sunday is going great! I woke up with a slight headache and my daughter is sick. There has been a stomach virus running around so now it seems that she has caught it. Least she way until spring break!! :puke:

Good morning, well afternoon now, Purplelady.  Sunday going great here so far.  Typical lazy day.  Got up early, put supper in the crock pot, played on the 'puter for a while, (fb game junkie), took a mid morning nap, up for lunch and a few chores then down for a mid afternoon nap.  After that supper and a movie followed by a few more fb games...lol  I love my Sundays.
