Yes, the Keystone pipeline is not the only one in the country.

I know that, but this administration claims THEY have ran that much pipeline......

  Give it a break Henry, the pipe line will be built and the oil will be shipped out and the Canadians and the refineries that refine it will make a killing and the Canadian's will pay no taxes on it.  The oil companies will get a tax deduction for building it.   :smile:  It will be like another tax cut for the rich.  :grin2:

hush up for a minute and read what I write and quite assuming everything.......what I wanted to know was this:

"We've added enough new oil and gas pipeline to encircle the earth,"...that is a quote from Obama.

Can anyone share what he means by this?....

  Yes Sir, we got miles and miles of refined oil products (gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, lubricating oil) pipe lines, crude oil pipe lines and natural gas pipe lines plus some that are not used and worn out and still buried.  Who knows Henry you might have built your house over one of them.  :wink:

I think they're so busy making light of things they're missing that Obama is trying to take credit for the pipeline that is already laid as though he is responsible for it.

The network of crude oil pipelines in the U.S. is extensive. There are approximately 55,000 miles of crude oil trunk lines (usually 8 - 24 inches in diameter) in the U.S. that connect regional markets. The map below shows some of the major crude oil trunk lines in the U.S.



The U.S. also has an estimated 30,000 to 40,000 miles of small gathering lines (usually 2 to 6 inches in diameter) located primarily in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Wyoming with small systems in a number of other oil producing states. These small lines gather the oil from many wells, both onshore and offshore, and connect to larger trunk lines measuring from 8 to 24 inches in diameter.
