The Troll

Where were the parents and why was the gun where the 11 year old could get it? Stupid people. Stupid prosecutor.

Where does a ll year old or a three old or a 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, year old or any kid find anything in your house or grand parents homes or anywhere.  They search for stuff.  You did, my sister did and I did go on a search.  My grandmother had all kind of good stuff to find.

But what pisses me off why didn't the owner of that gun take the boy out and teach him how to load it, fire it and unload and how dangerous it can be.  I did it with my son from the age of 7.  I bought him a shot gun when he was 8 and we went hunting together.  He knew what a gun was and he knew how to shoot it.  I taught him.

Not to long ago he was down to the house and I was showing him one of my guns.  The first thing he did was to open the bolt and see if it was empty.  Boys like guns and are like magnet to them and if you show they what they will do.  It will go a long way to safety.

But like you said the prosecutor is truly stupid and must be running for office.

About the only thing I'd add to your statement is the fact that if you are a responsible firearms owner, and you know children are going to be in the house alone, or may be at some point in time, then you take the necessary precautions to ensure that those firearms are rendered inoperable or unreachable during those times.

It's why I purchased a gun safe, it's why I have my firearms in locked and secured boxes that still allow quick and easy access to them should I need to reach them in a hurry.

I treasure my firearms and right to own them as much as I treasure the lives of every child that enters my home. If a child were to ever obtain one of my firearms and hurt or kill themselves or another with them, I would find the guilt that would bring me unbearable to live with. So I initiated measures to make sure they are never placed into such a situation, and that I will never be faced with living with it.

I still have not heard where the parents were when this happened, so I cannot for an opinion on that aspect. But, they should have made sure the firearms in the home were unreachable at a minimum, in my opinion. . .

Filing murder charges against an 11 year old does seem to be a knee jerk reaction in an election year though! Seriously, can anyone subject an 11 year old to a life of incarceration over this? Would anyone? I highly doubt it. So why waste the taxpayers money in attempting to do so???

Jury not talking.

I am glad they are not talking and I agree with them.  I can just see all of the stupid question they would be asked.  I said from the start she was not guilty of capital murder with intent.  I don't know what the prosecutor was thinking.  :yeah:  :yeah:

The prosecutor must have been running for reelection.     Trying to make a name for himself.

I salute the Jury for doing their job....it just sucks, that the bottom line is there is STILL a dead litte girl, with NO Justice in the picture.

And that surprises anyone???
I said it elsewhere here, but based on what I saw and read of the prosecutions case, there was NO way that jury could convict of anything other than lying to the authorities. And that is exactly what happened!

That's life.  There doesn't have to be justice and somebody doesn't have to pay the ultimate price every time.  Accidents do happen and life is lost.

You don't have to take another life with death or life in prison to pay that price.  I guess some people who think someone must pay anytime someone dies must come from the Old Testament where God smited and killed everyone of breaking any rule.  Even children who talked back to their parents must be killed.

We will never know what happened, that baby is dead and someonegot away with causing her death one way or another. I hope whoever did it lives a long time and suffers for it every day. I know, not a christian attitude but I get very tired of innocent children suffering and dying for no reason. This was no accident, imo. No one throws away a child like that if it was an accident.

Anne you don't have to worry, your God knows who did it and you know he will get his man or woman.  Let us  :pope:
