Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

'Splain that if you would. To me those TV evangilists have little to nothing to do with religion for the most part.

I do not disagree, however, freedom of religion means freedom for ALL religions. Which is EXACTLY why it is so important that the government not favor nor endorse ANY religion over another. If it extends favored status to one, then it MUST extend it to ALL equally. It is the crux of the issue Xtians fail to understand. This isn't a Xtian nation any more than it is Muslim, Satanist, or any other religion. This nation acknowledges the existence of a creator, no matter what s/he is called by the plethora of religions in this world; and that is IT.

So. . . if you are truly for freedom of religion, then you must allow those venues with which you may personally disagree the right to practice their religions as they deem fit; so long as they do not break the laws of humankind or impose themselves upon the personal / individuals rights of others. Period.

Always has been the intent of the constitution and always will be. The rest of this noise is just that; noise. Religion trying to exercise control over government.

A speech we need to hear, by a POTUS that means it.

And you want to elect someone who doesn't pay his bills.

:spooked: My life is kinda crazy right now, and I have a busy day ahead but want to say this: I suggest you find Chris Matthews' live interview of Donald Trump, re: abortion; it is definitely worth watching/listening to every word. Chris (I am a fan but sometimes call him motormouth) actually got to Trump in a way that was stunning  :spooked: What Trump said about some kind of punishment for women who get abortions has to be seen/heard in context.

It starts at about 9:45.

I think Trump answered it as well as it could be.  He was asked IF ABORTIONS were illegal, should there be a punishment?  He said YES.  Isn't that the point to having laws?  If someone breaks one, there is a punishment dealt out.  He didn't say WHAT that punishment should be, but there should be a form of punishment.
As a POTUS, he can only nominate a judge who may or may not have an outcome of this issue.  That is a tough question and I think he answered it honestly....unlike some who dance around it.

 It has been all over the news here -- all day long --  Trump  was in town --  Congress -- went in and out with no more than a glimpse of him. Once when I looked at the TV Luke Russert (Tim's boy) was there, keeping watch.

I like one thing that Trump brought out.  It was the punishment that there would have to be if abortion was made illegal.   The Republicans and the antiabortionist have not wanted to talk about.  Should we imprison mothers and doctors who do abortions or execute them.

For those assfriggers who believe that their god made the Big Bang and himself out of nothing, created the billions and billions of stars, planets, moons, Supernovas, Neutron Stars, Black Holes and all of the other material in the Universe.  Created the earth in 6 days and was so tired he had to rest on the 7Th.  That the earth is only 7,000 years old and believe  that god killed himself on an old rugged cross.  Write the bible about himself and how good and kind he is.  :dizzy2:     :poop:

Why don't you people let god solve the problem that you feel abortion?  Let him decide who and how to punish these people who decide on abortion.  Why, because you are too unintelligent to decide what other people do with their bodies.  If the woman who get abortion, is not family, doesn't cost you any money to get it done.  You are not feeding, clothing, housing, educating, medical care for her.  What god damn business is it yours.

For you keep you damn mouths closed, stay out of her life, body and her business, because :dam: it is NONE OF YOUR GOD DAMN BUSINESS!    :@#%&: :dam:

:huh1: :@#%&: :dam: :sarcasm:  Who in hell  :devil29: would want lying  :liar2: Ted Cruise :hogslop: for president of the United States of America? :usmad:

I know who, a bunch of wacko  head banging :wall: Far Right Christians and legally insane morons :kneel:

If this crazy bastard  :pigdance: would win.  Throw your right leg over your right shoulder and your left leg over your left shoulder and kiss  your ass good-by.   :hellur: Because we are headed for some real bad times.  :groan:

Just got my latest issue of TIME magazine, and on the cover: a close-up of Ted Cruz with a sly smile on his face, and this below:

"Likable Enough"?
Not so fast, Donald.
Ted Cruz has a plan"

Inside there's a big 2 page picture, in color, with Cruz, Governor Scott Walker, and Cruz's wife Heidi (she looks quite attractive), and a 4 page article. Haven't read it yet.
