again, without all the pie charts, graphs, statistics, and speadsheet..............all you got to do is look back.............we had tax cuts, and unemployement went to 4.5%..................what else do you need?......funny thing too, when the democrats took control of congress, it began to rise?..........hmmmm

Henry, because I am convinced you really don't understand how the economy works, I am providing a link to EconEdLink. It will explain many mysteries to you, including the contradictory occurrence of how the unemployment rate can rise, when there are actually more jobs.

There is also a chart (yes, I had no trouble finding one) showing the unemployment rate actually started falling dramatically in 1992. It bottomed out in 2000 and then began it's climb to the present level.

Nothing is so simple as you seem to think.

Why don't they put someone there who can take care of those armed dangerous criminals instead of just a sign.  That drug cartel knows that if someone on this side of the border shoots one of them all the rest have to do is act like innocent immigrants and the person who did the shooting is in deep dodo.  They're laughin' there behinds off at us and you know it.

  Why don't we use common sense.  It plain and simple.  Won't cost us anything, it could make us a lot of money.  Are you ready.

  Arrests anybody and I mean anybody that hires an illegal alien is fined $1000 for each and every one of them.  The first time.  Second time $5000 for each and every illegal alien and 30 days in jail for the owner or in a corporation the top person in the company and the person who did the actual hiring.  The third time, the third strike.  The lost of the business to the state and a felony charge and 1 year in prison.

I agree with this, but that will NOT put an end immediatly...that will take time....and it will not stop the drug cartel that is having it's way down there....I say it is time we do the job that we have supposed to have been doing, and not.

we must defend our borders, and install some practical laws for entering the country and becoming a citizen....that is really not too much to ask, but giving immigrants an amnesty is a GREAT way for liberals to gain some cheap votes....and THAT is the motive behind all of this....

  Illegal aliens can't vote, but they are a nice cheap source of labor for the Republican Business owners.  Like the large meat cutting companies that poison us and the large egg companies that poison us.

  We do need a super strong border protection against the criminals.  Shoot them and put them away.
