Well, if you had any common sense, Henry, then you'd know that it's not about the definition of illegal or even defense of illegal aliens. It's about creating laws which allow such loose interpretation and therefore sre enabling law enforcement and others to infringe on the rights of Americans. No one said that the problem doesn't need to be dealt with. We're saying there are better ways.

So no, just because you like something, doesn't make it common sense. If you like it then it's most definately an inability to reason.

How is that law infringing on the rights of Americans?  Yes, someone who became a citizen through the proper channels may get questioned and if they have their papers, which they are required to carry with them at all times anyway, they show them and there is no harm done.  If, however, the question someone and they are not obviously a citizen and they don't have their papers then, yes, it would be up to them to prove they were a citizen and they would be inconvenienced until they do.  Go to Mexico and take a bunch of people with you and protest their immigration laws and see how far you get.  They have no call to say ours are unfair. While you're at it see if you can get welfare and free health care from their government while you're there.  Hey, fair is fair.  If they can demand it from us we should be able to demand it from them.

Bullshit. If they are a citizen they are a citizen. It should not matter if they are a naturalized citizen or an immigrated citizen. Period. Why should any citizen have to carry papers?

Racial profiling - another indicator to add to the list.

There you go with that racial thing again.  If you are looking for a Mexican drug dealer or robber are you going to stop someone of another race just to keep from "racial profiling?"  If you are looking for an illegal immigrant are you going to stop someone who speaks perfect English, is black and in a suit or blond and fair complected or are you going to stop someone who is speaking a foreign language or very poor broken English, and looks like a Mexican or another nationality?

It's the law.

It's a good law.  Something had to be done.  It the same law the the federal government has, but never unforced.

It's a good law is the damn cops don't abuse it.  Most likely they will, they always do.  Love that power.  Bullies.

Well, of course only naturalized citizens look foreign and all naturalized citizens look Mexican. Why wouldn't be easy to quickly identify those who are possibly illegal? Doh!

Hitler went down that path, and apparently America is hell-bent on repeating their mistake. America never learns from its mistakes; just look at the oil spill. . .

OK, OK, OK we'll do it your way.  Since the religion in Mexico is Catholic that mean no birth control.  A lot of young Mexicans.  Where in Mexico the rich own 95% of all the money and don't give a damn about the other people and not give them a job or an education.  Breed them and send them North.

We will do it your way, hell open the borders, do away with the  fences.  Do away of the points of entry.  Everthing will be great.

let everybody coming from the South in.  We need all of the South Americans we can get.   People with no education, no money, every disease known to man to take these jobs no American would take even if they were starving.
