I never said or insinuated that anybody forced her to do anything....all I ever stated was, I find it sad, that a twenty year old kid is subject to this kind of pressure by some idiots out there, JUST because she is dancing on a show.

Just as I find it sad that she is referred to as a heifer....

the bottom line is, liberals hate her Mom, so they have done everthing they can to try to demean her daughter....I know she "chose" to get in the spot light, but that still doesn't change the fact how ignorant and immature people act.  She has hurt no one.

and I, just think it sucks................that's it.

I'm not going to lose any sleep on it...................just find it almost comical how, this kid is attacked by those who dislike her mom.

You put yourself out there as a public personality then you had better be prepared for the things that go with the territory, including death threats too. . . Mrs. Palin did not do anything in her campaign that Mr. Obama did, his children were front and center stage but no one attacked them. I never said, you said, she was forced into making the choices she has made, but rather used the statement as a reminder that each of us make choices in life and dealing with the results of those decisions is incumbent upon the individual. In other words, to coin a phrase the conservatives are so fond of tossing about, it is a part of" personal responsibility"!

Let me state once again, I am in no way endorsing or supporting the fact that someone may or may not have initiated a threat to the safety and well being of this individual or any other for that matter. But what I am saying is that if this is indeed a case of the "sins of the mother being visited upon the daughter", then would it not be prudent for the daughter to take measures to assure it is minimized and/or neutralized?

Putting yourself into the public arena can be lucrative and rewarding, but nothing is free and each choice we make comes with its associated price and risks. When one chooses to place themselves into the public arena, then you are saying that you understand the risks associated with the double edged sword that is the public's whimsical nature, and are willing to assume those risks and/or undertake measures to neutralize them. Unwritten rule but pretty much universally understood amongst those who court the favors of the public.

That she, if the media is to be believed, was caught unawares surrounding the potential for threats to her well being, only reinforces the fact she acknowledges the risks and has made a cognizant decision to move forward despite said risks. Whether she initiates appropriate measures to remediate those risks is her affirmation as well. So why should I worry about it?    It may not be right but it is not my choice and certainly not my problem.

I don't see her or her kind worrying one bit about it!

BIG difference between the threat and the doing. . . . HUGE difference. . . And as I said, I am not endorsing anyone being threatened with bodily harm. . . much less it actually taking place. But the risk factor still applies. . .

One  question here.  What would have been said if the Republican's had joked about and attacked Obama's and Biden's kids during the campaign like the Dems did and are still doing with Palin?  Would that have been right and to be expected just because he was running for President and Biden Vice President?  An attack is an attack and it is not comedy it is rude and childish.
