Michael Vick made a mistake a few years back. He went to prison and paid his debt. He continues his work against animal cruelty and publicly speaks out against it, while admitting to his past mistakes. The Philadelphia Eagles took a chance on him when no one else dared to, and the past couple of weeks he has shown that their risk was not ill conceived.

Nothing silences your critics better than a job well done! I hope Vick can continue to perform at the levels he has demonstrated the last two weeks. I wish him success equal to his commitment and dedication, and forgiveness.

If he keeps this up he may very well be in the running for MVP at the end of the season!

I started out this season saying that the Dolphins were an 8-8 team at best.  They're currently 5-5, so my prediction is holding thus far.  Looking at the remaining schedule, I think 8-8 may be EXACTLY where they end up.  Stay tuned and see my analysis below.

The Vikings have fired head coach Brad Childress. . . Among the mis-steps he has committed this season: Failing to confer with ownership before releasing Randy Moss, fighting with Brett Favre, and getting pimp - slapped by the Packers last night, 31- 3, taking his team to 3-7 for the season and all but ensuring they are out of the playoffs this year. . .

Bears barely win over the Eagles. They lead most of the game (Bears) but if Vick had just another 2 minutes in the game the Eagles would have beat them.
