Well you just knew when it was decided that it would be the Saints verses the Colts, that the Saints were going into this with the edge; or at least I did anyway.

First there was the beating New Orleans took from mother nature, then the fact they had never been to a super bowl in their history. Add to that the Manning connection, (hailing from New Orleans) and the fact his daddy was the New Orleans QB, and one couldn't help but feel that karma was weighing in heavily in New Orleans favor in this game.

Not to take away from the teams ability to get the job by any stretch, but if that was what it was all about then the game would have been a lot closer than it was. But when you have that great karma on your side, there just isn't any way to lose . . .

Once again NFL films gets a great storybook setup when it puts together the super bowl 44 highlight film. Something to inspire generations of the future and suck them into the great money machine that is the NFL.

It was a good game.  I'm glad that the Saints won on their first visit.  Congratulations New Orleans Saints!

Ravens signed Dante Stallworth, who was released by the Browns.

(He was released because he just got out of jail for killing a pedestrian while driving under the influence.)

Just add him to Ray Lewis's total.
