As bad as I hate to say it, the Jets may have a shot.  The Colts can't run very effectively, so the Jets don't have to respect that.  All they have to do is defend the pass, and that's what they do best anyway.  They have the top ranked pass defense in the NFL.  If they keep Manning in check, they punch their ticket to Miami.

Not to mention they are number 1 in run offense as well. I have no doubt the Jets can beat the Colts, but they'll have to be at the top of their game on both sides of the ball. Otherwise, Manning and Company will run up the score on them.

There's no doubt in my mind the Jets have a very real shot at sending the Colts packing, and in their own house, this afternoon. It will suck if it happens, but I've been saying that letting them in by laying down and pulling the starters was a mistake in the first place. They brought the Jets to the dance, so they might as well go ahead and kiss them!

Yup!  The Jets get to "dance with the one that brung ya'!"  ;D

I'm fairly certain that unless something extraordinary happens, this is going to be an NFC year insofar as the Super Bowl Champ goes.

IF the Colts beat the Jets, I think they can beat the Saints. Minnesota is a tossup.

Well before Indianapolis gets too full of themselves, they'd better understand that THEY didn't beat Baltimore, Baltimore did. Take away the interference call on the second interception, and that crappy call on Ray Lewis in the end zone, and Baltimore has two touchdowns. But for Garcon's heads up (and somewhat lucky) play on Reid's first interception they could very well have walked out of the Luke the winners.

Karma has a bad way of coming back to you at the least opportune moment, and should the Jets somehow beat the Chargers tomorrow, how "meaningless" does that game against the Jets seem then????

Newsflash _ Addai jerseys on sale at the colts pro shop. Anybody think he'll be around next year?

Sanchez has nothing to hang his head over. His team may have lost but the Jets made it a fight.

Sanchez is worth watching in the years to come. He made some pretty stupid/risky throws that he was lucky didn't cost them anything, but he demonstrated he has the talent necessary to make a name for himself in the NFL, IMHO.

Sorry Jets, but Herr Manning figured you out in the 2nd half and sent yah back home to watch the superbowl!

Garcon, what a game! Collie and Wayne too. And my man Dallas Clark (44) got a touch in there too finally!

Congrats COLTS!

Irsay, shut the #%&# up and sit down!

Manning has proved WHY, he is the MVP of the NFL....and will continue to do so in two weeks....

If the Saints play in the Super Bowl like they did yesterday, they will lose to the Colts. If the Colts cough up the football the way the Vikings did, they'll lose in the Super Bowl.

Concerns for the Colts:

1. Addai - the guy has a nasty habit of losing the football, and the Saints are after it on every play.

2. Addai - while he showed some promise and production in yesterdays game, his yards per carry leaves a lot to be desired.

3. Offensive Line - The Saints are big, mean and nasty, and the Colts are built for speed. I'm thinking this may be a problem in protecting Manning from the Saints massacre. They gimped up Favre and he's a lot more durable than Manning is. I worry he'll get hurt and be out of the game in the first half.

4. Defense - pressure is the key to putting Drew off his game plan. Can the Colts get inside and into the backfield?? Lets hope so, otherwise he'll burn the Colts like he did the Vikings a few times yesterday.

I believe the Colts can beat the Saints, and beat them handily. The "X" factor is Manning and his ability to figure out their schemes. Whether any of the above come into play remains to be seen. . .

The Saints were given 5 turnovers on their home field and still only won by 3 points...in overtime no less.  If they play that way in two weeks, they don't stand a chance.
