Wow, and the announcer even called it that way too! (Hand in the face). Face mask it was and had the officials called it GB would have retained possession 15 yards further toward the goal. That's just salt in the wound man! ! !

I knew it looked squirrely to me when it happened, but once AZ ran into the end zone I switched it off. Glad I did too or I'd have been a little pissed over it!  How the hell did they miss this when they were whipping out the snotty hankies all night long???? And at such a crucial juncture of the game too!

Bet there are a LOT of cheeseheads hittin the schnapps and cussing a blue streak this day!

Now we know the Colts are playing the Ravens, again. . . The Ravens gave them a hard way to go in week eleven of the season, and I expect that if they come out like they did yesterday, they'll give them a spanking.

Lost thus far in all of this, are the sour grapes the fans nurture over the Colts midnight move from their town a few years ago. The fans and media are going to have the team whipped into a frenzy by Saturday, imploring upon them to enact revenge upon the traitorous Colts organization for their historical abandonment of them. (The fact the Colts organization showed their ass to the fans here over the last two to three weeks of the season is not going to be of any help to their karma either).

The Ravens have the desire, they have the emotion, they have the skill, and they have Ray Lewis; who I predict is going to savagely harass 4 x MVP Manning like a ravenous beast.

The Colts have 3-4 weeks of rest under their belts, and a lot of rust in their joints. Indianapolis fans had better hope that they can clear it off a lot quicker than the second half Saturday, or Baltimore will never let them live it down!

Oh, and another thing. . . Anyone else notice that the pro-bowl is taking place the weekend before the super bowl this year?

So I'm wondering just how the owners are going to accept this little piece of news? For the two teams in the super bowl it could spell disaster, should their star players obtain an injury during the pro bowl, and the loss of the super bowl champion title.

I'm betting IF the Colts get into the super bowl the entire organization are going to be filling their diapers while manning is on the field. . .

 Ray's a great player who gives 110% during each and every game. I respect that and admire him for it. I just wish these guys (all NFL players) would get their personal lives in order before the skeletons are let out of the closet!

I hate to use this word.....but, this may be the most "retarded" idea EVER in the NFL......how stupid is this?...there is NO way, If I am a player, heading for the SB, would participate in the worthless ProBowl....it is pointless, except for the fact you have been selected by the fans as the best at your postition....other than that it is supposed to be a fun weekend for the players to get together in Hawaii for a little R&R.....and be recognized.

I have to agree on this being one of the worst ideas the NFL has floated in a long time.

The fact that the players who are in the SB are going to have to be distracted by learning/teaching new plays from/to others almost ensures a fiasco during the game, or super bowl, or both. . . (Of course, the NFL is probably just trying to generate extra revenue for their latest crown jewel, the Cowboy Stadium, for Jerry).

Indeed they did. Vic's were after he had played for the Falcons too. A lot of these guys just thug it up because they are bored during the down time. . . Idle hands and all that. . .

I think it was the intention of the league that the players on the teams contending for the Super Bowl would not participate in the Pro Bowl game.  They knew that going in.

Oh #$%&##%*! Man I hate the Cowboys propaganda machine almost as much as I hate Jerry Jones. That pompous #%$ hat! Of course I'm talkin bout dat moron!  :icon_twisted: :icon_twisted:

Texas (the state) hasn't been nearly as impacted by this economic downturn as the rest of the country, since it owes the lifeblood of its economy to the one thing that this country cannot seem to do without; oil.
So Jerry gets a new temple on the backs of the great state of Texas and nobody seems to care there. But they will. . .

And the NFL sets another gold standard for their future temples by helping King Jerry into a state of the art temple. . .

I've not heard or seen that in any of their advertising or promo's thus far. It'll hurt Jerry's gate take if Manning doesn't show. . .  :icon_twisted:
