And if he shows up at your kids' school and wakls into the classroom, you'd instruct your child to walk out?  You're a helluva parent.

If that is all the better things he has to do is.....fly to Indiana, unannounced and show up in a freshman classroom to speak to speak to kids about being sure they graduate....when our country is at war, fighting a recession, and has the whole country in turmoil because he is throwing trillions of $$ in debt.....then, there are other issues going on with this POTUS.

and that is what I said from the very beginning...but evidently you don't read do you?..look it up.

I read a lot better than you do and that is not what you said at all.  You entered this conversation questioning his motives and criticizing.  You are one of the lunatic fringe.

Let's go back to Bush visiting a school and reading to the students.
Looks like I've come full circle.

Let's do! And maybe then we can get an idea on this mentality (or lack thereof.)

Well, I didn't mean that in a bad way.....I meant, why can't the president choose to visit ANY school and talk to the kids without having issues.   But I guess reading from an upside down book shows more talent than I have given anyone credit for.
Looks like I've come full circle.

Just because you aren't bright enough to understand why you are being manipulated the way you are, doesn't mean it isn't happening.

despite your misinformed opinions and extreme arrogance.....your are very wrong about me....and the color of the skin of this POTUS has NOTHING to do with his strong liberal views....and THAT is what I don't like about him.....and so do most Americans.....

I would submit that you are profoundly out of your depth even attempting to comprehend the priorities of our president.

Maybe not you specifically but the people who you are following and parroting have no other basis for such primordial, primevil hysteria.  There is absolutely no rational basis for it and there is no longer any other explanation for it other than the color of his skin.

I talk to my daughter about current events, politics, social issues...the news. If it's something she takes a real interest in, then we reasearch it further. I'm hoping that I can inspire her to not only want to know more but also to want to seek the facts and not rely on a single source of information.

The comments that I've read in opposition of this speech convince me that I'm on the right track. Ignorance is obviously contageous and I want to protect her from that.

That being said, I agree Bo D.

I don't deny that there are STILL some seriously screwed up people out there...but I think the numbers are low enough to where they do not have an impact....and I really wish you would quit assuming I am parroting anyone...no more than saying that your idea's originated from someone else and YOU are parroting them....

I agree with some of what RUSH says...but that does NOT make me a parrot....THAT is what frustrates me with arguing on here..that is always the excuse.
