just since obama, or was it a disaster before... when it was bush?  and it was no accountability at all, just throw money?

just askin'!

:P

miss ya hank, look me up!
If it was being done with no accountability why didn't Obama change it before doling out more?  Bush only doled out half of the original amount of TARP for the first round Obama has been doing it since. Would it not have been smarter on his part to fix it first and then continue on?  At this point it is Obama's mess not Bush's.

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Oceans are cooling according to NASA

I know this'll be hard for you to grasp, Henry, but I'll try to keep it simple for you.  If you take a can of soda at room temperature and pour it in a glass, when you add ice to it, does it get cooler or warmer when the ice melts?  That's pretty much what happens with the oceans as well when the ice at the poles melts.

The absorption of heat by melting ice is so small that even if it were to quadruple, the impact on ocean heat would be miniscule......

You need to scrutinize your sources better...using people like William DiPuccio illustrates that you aren't really interested in any real research but only in proving what you already believe to be true.  If your choice is to remain ignorant, you've chosen a good strategy but don't expect anyone to take you seriously.  Can you find a reputable source?

i am through for the day.....this is always your response, that others are not up to speed, because you do not trust any source that does not line up with yours.

Research him yourself and then come back and tell the class whether or not you think he is a source without an agenda.

And for the record, you are not up to speed but hey, you're the one crankin' out the kids who'll have to live with the consequences if you're wrong; not me.

My rant..............

What is real and what is not?

Do words mean anything anymore?

Is life becoming so cynical, that humor and truthful opinions, can no longer be spoken from the heart?

Or is it that being politically correct, and trying to NOT to offend someone (EVERYONE)...has become cumbersome into relaying one's true thoughts?.....

Or is simply being obnoxious and obtrusive becoming the way things SHOULD BE?.....

In this day and time, can people oppose one another on issues, and STILL find common ground with one another, to put differences of opinions aside for the common good?

I, for one, am concerned...I make NO bones about my dislike about Obama's views and liberal ways.....but, I am honestly glad, and consider it an honor, to live in this country, and able to vote for our leaders....and, I would NEVER, wish any physical harm to Obama or those who share similar views.

It seems like we are in a time, where political and religious views have become SO radical, that there are NO common ground anymore, so at the end of the day, we ALL get along.  There was the Clinton haters, who was so obsessed with hating him, that it spawned haters of GWB, and that spawned more haters of Obama...left hates right and right hates left.....hate, hate, hate....dirty politics and smear tactics IS the norm and the way of our media.........finding the real truth, is a mater of choice.
Sources can be found to support EVERY view of ones opinion.

I do not hate Obama...I dislike his ideology.
I do not hate non Christians....I simply, full hearted believe that there is a God, and His word is given to us, vie the Bible.
I do not hate Gays....I dislike the lifestyle, as I do anyone who cheats on their spouses.
I do not hate people who choose to have abortions....I simply believe there is more at stake than, just a choice.

This is just my rant of the day..........I am tired of HATE!!!
I love my God, my family, my friends (including my forum buddies)....I love this country, and everything that it stands for, despite who is in control in washington....I think, there are things out there much bigger than politics........and much, much bigger than HATE.

awol

nice rant!

the trouble with "common good" is that it's not so common anymore...

what one sees as good, the other vehemently opposes as he would the source of all evil.

truth falls by the wayside as experts sell their legitimacy to the highest bidder from either side, until all we are left with are differing opinions.
