I know it is Friday and I should be happy about it. . . but having to work until the wee hours of the morning this evening, is NOT my idea of a Friday well spent. . . 

  I got some idea of what you feel.  I worked the 3:30 PM to 12 AM shift for years and when I had to work 4 hours over it seem like forever.  But, I must say that when you work the afternoon shift major management is gone home and not there to screw up the works.      Also the is no better shift to screw up your family life and going out to have some fun.

Among other things.  It's just that some days are busier than others and I'd rather the busy ones didn't fall on rainy cold days.  Dodo occurs though so ya just gotta take the bad with the good.

  You have ought have seen Salamonie Reservoir.  It is was 13 ft below pool stage.  We lost over half the lake.  I didn't even take out my boat.    or

I can understand that.  Salamonie has far too many sand bars and tree stumps to take a chance when it's that low.

  Another killer cop.  Shoots a naked college freshman.  Shooting him in the chest.  What ever happened to pepper spray or a Tazer?  I sure would like to know how many people are killed by killer cops each year.  From my searches, no records are kept.   

  Hell, they are so shoot happy and ask question later, they are shooting each other along the Mexican border.

"The man repeatedly rushed toward the officer and verbally challenged the officer in a fighting stance. The officer, with weapon drawn, ordered the individual to stop. The officer retreated numerous times in an attempt to calm the situation. The individual continued to press toward the officer in a threatening manner."

 

Ayers went on to say the man rushed the officer again and again, with the officer retreating several times, verbally ordering the man to stop.




"When the individual continued to rush toward the officer in a threatening manner and ignore the officer's repeated command to stop, the officer fired one shot with his police side arm, which struck the chest of the assailant, The individual fell to the ground, but he got up once more and continued to challenge the officer before collapsing and expiring," Ayers said.
