all day this has been sunday.  why did no one tell me??? you people are terrible babysitters.

Maybe you need a refresher course in rain dance.  No one put conditions on it this time.  I guess I could see if I could get hubby to help and put in a call to a couple of friends to see what they could do.  :wink:

I have not mowed in 3 weeks. The grass is extra crispy and brown. Dead, except for the weeds.

Watering is not an option at a net charge of 8 cents a gallon, I'd be spending 5-600 bucks a month on watering the lawn.

The forecast for the week ahead currently has a 20% or less chance of a small shower on Thursday; amounting to less than a quarter of inch IF we get it.

Hubby fired up the old well pump to water our grass. Still uses electricity but cheaper than city water and sewer charges.
