I used to like Dick Lugar, even handed out leaflets for his campaign when he was running for mayor here.  Sadly, his time has passed and now he's nothing but a senile old man whose life in politics has left him clueless about what goes on in the real world.

I will agree with you on that one too, I was a big fan of his several years ago, but he really needs to go.

  Yes old Dicky has screwed Indiana long enough. 

  The Tea Party says he is not a resident of Indiana because he doesn't own a home here and has committed voter fraud because he has voted here with owning a home here.  If you remember this was brought up years a go when he live in his momma's home.  He came back to Indiana a bought a house and run again and won again.  I guess the last house he owned has been sold.  I don't like Dicky, but he is sure better than the Tea Party candidate running against him. 

  Who knows his last home might have been foreclosed on.

Why does other people's drama stress us out so much?

  The authorities are finally investigating a cop in Phoenix AZ. after he has shot and killed his 6Th victim.  The last guy was holding a baby and this cop shot him in the head with a high calibre rifle blowing off his head.  I'll bet we will hear nothing of this after this newspaper article or a record of the killing kept.

  What I want to know is, How many people are the cops and authority figures kill every year.  I'll bet it is a large figure and a lot of them are uncalled for killings.

Knowing all the circumstances would be a big help in determining if the cop did right or not.  Was it a situation where the baby was in more danger if the guy hadn't been killed?  How about a link to the story Troll.

  All you have to do is pick up your today's Anderson Herald Baby Cake. Out of a 450 or so police department this cop has killed 6 people.  Something is defiantly wrong.  That is more than all of the police departments in Madison county and several more counties.

  This cop need to be in Afghanistan teaching our soldiers how to kill the Taliban.

I took the HB for over 40yrs and when it got to the point there was very little local news in it and, at the time, no local sports I canceled it. Haven't taken it for almost 8yrs now and don't miss it a bit.

  We just got our tax statements back.  Tho we didn't make as much money as we did last year.  It was suprising that with are small income we found out we paid the same percent (15%) taxes on our income as Mitt Romney made of his $23 Million income.

  It really sounds fair, doesn't it.     Just think Romney wants to do away with all capital gains taxes.  That way he wouldn't have to pay any taxes on his $23 Million income.      "ME", Hawk, Mitt, Rick all in the same basket.

Depends on whether you look at only one part of his return or all of it.  He also pays a certain amount based on regular income which would be at a higher rate.  His entire income is not based on just capitol gains just as no one's in his position is no matter what party they're in.  And I ask again like I did once before.  Do you really think the uber rich Dems in congress are anxious to pass bills that are going to hurt them?  Answer:  No but they'll certainly find a way to make it look like it's the conservatives that are the bad guys in the whole thing.

  Isn't something old Romney can get by paying 15% on his millions of dollars income.  23 million of them to be correct, when some poor working stiff has to pay more.  You're brain dead.   Honey Dipper.
