Why are the repukes so afraid of a referendum if they're so certain they're right?

because it may very well be unconstitutional, accoding to Indianas constitution - it doesn't allow voters to decide whether to enact a state law.

The Troll

Henery, your damn governor Mitch Daniels is a "bald" face lair!

He tells the Teamsters Union that he is a against the Right To Work Bill.  So the Teamsters support him and he gets elected.  Now in the last year of his office the Old Liar Mitch is for the Right To Work Law where they can't get to him.  What a God damn lair.
But when you come to think of it.  All Republicans are lairs.  You can't trust the bastards on anything.

I want to rant   Went to Noblesville Thursday and on the automatic bill board the price of gas was $3.06.  Went to Noblesville Friday and on the automatic bill board the gas price was $3.32.

What in hell happened in 24 hours to raise the price of gas 26 cents?  :groan: It is another crooked con game that the oil companies steal million of dollars from the American people.

I knew that when they put in the automatic signs.  But as old Rush Limbaugh says its just capitalism.  :zoners:

Remember when they were telling us that the reason the prices were so high was limited refining capacity?

Consumer's problems with gas are twofold.

1)  Here in Indiana they can be traced back to the attorney general under Evan Bayh's administration that made the policy which stated price gouging wouldn't even be considered unless the price jumped $2 (IIRC, it might have been $4) in a day.  That stupid move only gave the retailers free rein to raise prices however and whenever they damn well feel like it.

2) As a nation, the problem is those wonderful lil' thieves that created a place for themselves in betwixt the producers and the retailers/consumers where they can basically steal everyone blind for doing absolutely nothing - those wonderful lil' commodities folks.  Hell, they're even known to create paper transfers just to raise the price.  They're evil and need to be shut down.  Completely.

I do.  But they can't use that excuse now since the US is now an exporter of gasoline.  Most people don't even know that.

The government faces a fourth year of trillion-plus deficits in 2012, according to new projections released  Tuesday—numbers which also show little relief in the future unless Washington  comes to grips with needed changes in its tax and spending policies.

Yes, changes in its tax policies, like making the wealthy pay the same tax rate as the middle class.  Again, why should someone who doesn't even have to get out of bed to make over $20 million a year pay a lower tax rate than people who have to get up every morning and actually produce something?

It's also ironic that the repubs defend all that money Mitt gets without working but shit on people on welfare for pretty much exactly the same thing.

big difference.....Mitt EARNED his money.  and WHO exactly is SHITTING on people on welfare?  Repubs just want to create more paychecks instead welfare checks.

the dems are doing nothing but keeping the people down and oppressed so these people think the NEED them...to take care of them...give them homes and food, so they have no need to work...just keep voting democrat.  a pathetic bunch of losers is what the dems have created.

Earned his money by creating what?  And by all accounts, he never would have been in a position to make the money he did without his privileged upbringing.
