Are doings enable never done anythings.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

When people say, "I'm going to let go and let god", it bugs the living crap outta me. It's the equivalent to saying, "Eff it". For the smaller decisions like where they'll go for dinner (uh seriously and I wanted to point out if there is a god he/she couldn't give a fat rats ass and has more important things to do than guide that decision) to major potentially life saving surgery Basically, they're indecisive and are refusing to do something about their problems..

I've always heard the saying, "God helps those, who help themselves."  That just tells me it is up to the person to make a decision and take care of business, not some mythical being.

I think maybe you may be misunderstanding what the intent of such a saying....

For me,  I the issue I am facing currently with my wife.  I can honestly say that I have faith in God, despite the outcome, that the bottom line is that God will guide me through any hardship we will encounter....and I have faith that my wife and I will ultimately be "okay".

I still am very much at the guidence and direction of the Doctors we have decided to lead us through our ordeal.  I have entrusted a doctor inparticular, who has been a rock for us so far........It also means that I am not worrying my ass off.  Because I do at times.   But, my wife and I have found some "peace" because of the relationship we have with God.   In my opinion,

I am not putting anyone else down because the do not accept God or Jesus or the flying spaggetti dude ( as you guys like to say )....but I have zero doubt in my mind and in my soul, there is a higher power involved......and I don't mind saying that I love my God, with all my heart, mind and soul.

To me it is the equivalent of letting go of a situation that is out of your hands/control and taking comfort in something besides a pill to help you through the toughness of a situation.  You could substitute the word fate there or what ever or a multitude of other words and it would still be the same.  You can't tell me you don't turn to something to comfort you when things get tough and you have no control over the outcome.

Third is the charm.  My :2cents: Henry if your God and Jesus gives you comfort and peace, go for it.  There in only one thing you have to worry about is you.  Because if you get sick or have a break down who is going to be the one to hold the family together.  You do what ever you and doctor thinks is correct and get her well.  It is amazing after the dark the sun will come out.  Life and the sun has always worked out and will again.  Get strong.

What in hell is wrong with the Indiana Supreme Court.  They have just rules that you cannot resist if the police illegally enter your house.  This to keep everybody safe and to keep something bad from happening.  Like you shooting them or they killing you illegally.  Just like 10 years ago that the police in Indianapolis shot a man for breaking into his own home because he lost his key.  They the cops broke in themselves.  Waking him up on his own couch by screaming at him and shining a flashlight in his eyes.  And then shooting him in his own house.  They claimed that he started to jump up with a hunting knife and they had to shoot him.  Guess what, the cops and Indianapolis had to pay almost $1.9 million for that mistake for killing a young man in his own home with a illegal entry.      It happens everyday in the nation with SWAT, the killer thugs.

You are suppose to take it to court and let the the judge decide who is wrong.  What happens if you don't have the money to hire a lawyer.  And who do you suppose the Judge is going to believe.  Why IT'S GOING TO BE YOU.

The dumbass Supreme Court Judges also ruled, that if the police are serving a warrant.  They can decide if they want to knock or not.  Buy their choice they can break you door down for anything.  I suppose it's their choice if they shoot you or not.

There goes another part of our Constitution and our right of illegal search.  It really shows how bad the police powers are going.  Just like the KGB in Russia.      One more thing that makes Indiana one of  the most backward states in the nation.

There is NO way this can hold.............it is a clear case of violating the 4th admendment to our Constitution.

Judges ARE a major reason this country is going down the pot.............they are stepping WAY out of bounds........and another reason why the "tea party" movement is important.......liberal or conservative.........we HAVE to stay within our Constitution and not allow judges to make laws....but to merely do their job and assure all laws are within our Constitution.

Even though this is NOT a Mitch Daniels ruling........it is going to reflect upon him, if he does not step in immediatly.  1600 penn ave, will not be in his future.

Hey Henry, I glad to see you back taking an interest.  I know it's to soon to know that everything is good.

But still I glad to see that you agree with on this stupid ruling.  The police have to much power now and the judges keep adding to it.  I wonder how long it will be before we have a complete police state.  So keep on keeping on.
