I'm glad he did bump it, because I didn't see it. Thank you Troll. I think that other comment was meant as a compliment, Troll style , he enjoys the challenge and you guys make it fun.

Pretty friggin SAD when private carrier medical insurance is CHEAPER than medicare medical insurance and covers more!

My BIL is on SS disability and when he first got qualified we inquired surrounding medicare; which they said he was not eligible for. Well, a few weeks back he got an eligibility notification from SS and I sat down with him and filled it out. This week he got a card and information surrounding the programs available. . .

Part A (hospital) incurs no fee, but EVERYTHING else does; and when I sat down and figured out how much it will cost him, in order to allow him to reach an informed decision, it amounted to about 15% of his monthly income for the premiums for part B and prescription coverage. BOTH of which carry a pretty hefty (from his budgetary perspective) deductible.

Now, what he currently has, and bought because he was initially told he did not qualify for medicare, amounts to 4% of is monthly income; and it covers EVERYTHING 100%, with the singular exception of a 25 dollar deductible for hospitalization. (Now granted, this is a specific insurance for the disabled on social security).

How the hell is THAT even possible???

It's pretty friggin SAD when you see the Republicans set on their hands and do nothing about the economy and creating jobs.  The only thing on their agenda is to cause trouble and work on the one and only thing to get done is to make Obama a one term president.

From the looks of the presidential candidates is pretty sickening.  Really they are all jokes :jester:  I hope they keep it up.  After seeing what their last candidates have done in the states and in congress they are frigging stupid and funny.

Yeh, PaleHorse.  How your new job.  Do you like it and do you like the new people.  How the company to work for.  Are you how glad you got laid off from the other company.  Some time change is good for the heart.

You getting to the age you need some security.  As you well know its a tough old world out there.

New job is fine, the company as a whole seems like every other multi-billion dollar corporation; chaos, spin, and propaganda. But by now I am so used to it that I endure what I have to , comply with what I must, and ignore the rest of the noise as much as possible. My sabbatical from the corporate jungle taught me what is truly important in my life, and to remember it. . . The rest will resolve itself whether I like it or not. . .

I sure glad it's a multi-billion dollar corporation.  It seem that the only way to survive in this wolf eat wolf is to be large.  There aren't going to be very many small business men or women make the big time.  The big guys take it away from them.

Glad you fairly happy.  You know, back in the old days you meet your enemy face to face with the shield in your left hand and you sword in your right hand and have combat.  No some anymore.  You have to put your shied over you ass and your sword in your right hand.  Why?  Because their is always trying to sneak to your back and stick their sword in your ass.

I had a old Naval Officer tell me this about going up in rank.

Watching David Letterman last night and he had Donald Trump on his show.  The Donald said that one of his friends was buying a new airplane, the price was $3 million.  He also said the his friend was going to get $1.3 million tax cut on his plane from the U.S government.  Donald said he didn't think it was right.

What I would like to know is, what in hell is the American government giving someone here who buys an $3 million airplane a $1.3 tax deduction.  No wonder we are going down the tube.  It isn't hard to see who running America, it is the Super Rich.

But that would be alright with Nightsquawk, the Fhawk and little Ms. Me.

Oh, I forgot the most important information.  This $3 million airplane was made and built in Brazil.  Tax cut for foreign made airplanes.

I don't mind helping people, but I do expect them to bring some initiative and independent thing to the table. Is that unreasonable?

For example, the helpee saves a word doc and then can't find it. What are your options BEFORE you decide to admit total defeat and inability to complete the entire task (which involves the doc, but the doc is only a part of the task) to the helper?
