My truck was brand new in 2003. Look what has happened to diesel prices since I bought it!

You were talking about paying taxes.  Paying taxes on unemployment.  Paying taxes on Social Security.  The people who work for a pay check can't hide their money.  They have to pay every bit of the taxes.

  But all of the small business, restaurants, independent truck drivers, computer consulants, junk dealers and any persons who work under the table and pocket the cash is one thing that is causing one big deficit.  Billion of dollars.

  I would love for the IRS to come after these tax evaders.  Like computer consulants.  :biggrin:

It's pretty frickin sad when my WATER/ELECTRIC bill exceeds my gas bill during a peak heating month!  :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

  Do you have to pay for a sewer bill on  top of the water bill.  It cost me $35 a month, even when I don't use any water.  I sorta hurts to go to Florida for two months and still have to pay $70 sewer bill. :cry:

Yes! It is terrible. Last time I did the math it was costing us a little over 8 cents a gallon for Anderson water! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

I guess this EQ and Tsunami event should be good for another .40 - .60 cent per gallon increase to the price of petroleum products. After all, Japan has shut down refineries and nuclear facilities. . .  :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
