Tequila I can deal with and I really like that cinnamon stuff but it gives me serious heartburn.  I got sick on beer and cashew nuts when I was 19 and haven't liked it since.  That is the one and only time I've ever experienced the room spinning and I hope to never experience that again.          Now tequila had me seeing double one time but that was funny not scary and I didn't get sick or have a hangover.

Believe me when I say any of the alcohol drinks will make you sick if you drink enough.  Learned that the hard way in my youth.  Hardly drink anything except when we are out.  Never alone.

I didn't drink that much I drank it too fast and was eating cashews and it just didn't work out well for me at all.    We're talking like 4 or 5 beers not a whole bunch but then I'm a real light weight when it comes to alcohol.

Note to Obama: You're an idiot for praising Vick's "comeback".  Using your logic, why do we not let child molesters near children after they've served their time?  Vick is a brutal piece of shit who should be hooked to a car battery and thrown in a swimming pool just like he did to those dogs.

   sorry, just joking!!! I couldn't resist.

On a more serious note, I do agree that Vick IS a POS!...What he did is NOT something that you "Reform" over, simply by doing so "time"....this douche is a creap, who truly shown what kind of person he is.....the NFL should have taken a stand on this and not allowed him back in the league.

I disagree with all 3 of you. . .

Then your fanaticism about sports is clouding your judgement.

From the book "The Lost Dogs" written by Jim Gorant, the senior editor of Sports Illustrated:

"As that dog lay on the ground, fighting for air, Quanis Phillips grabbed its front legs and Michael Vick grabbed its back legs. They swung the dog over their head like a jump rope then slammed it to the ground. The first impact didn't kill it. So, Phillips and Vick slammed it again. The two men kept at it, alternating back and forth, pounding the creature against the ground until, at last, the little red dog was dead."

From:

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/g/a/2009/11/03/petscol110309.DTL&tsp=1

"What Michael Vick did was not just dog fighting," said Marthina McClay of Our Pack, a pit bull rescue group in Santa Clara, and the owner of one of the Vick dogs, Leo. "It went so far beyond that, and most people who defend him are uninformed. They don't really realize what Michael Vick did."

"The details that got to me then and stay with me today involve the swimming pool that was used to kill some of the dogs," Reynolds wrote on her blog. "Jumper cables were clipped onto the ears of underperforming dogs, then, just like with a car, the cables were connected to the terminals of car batteries before lifting and tossing the shamed dogs into the water."

She continued, "We don't know how many suffered this premeditated murder, but the damage to the pool walls tells a story. It seems that while they were scrambling to escape, they scratched and clawed at the pool liner and bit at the dented aluminum sides like a hungry dog on a tin can.

"I wear some pretty thick skin during our work with dogs, but I can't shake my minds-eye image of a little black dog splashing frantically in bloody water ... screaming in pain and terror ... brown eyes saucer wide and tiny black white-toed feet clawing at anything, desperate to get a hold. This death did not come quickly. The rescuer in me keeps trying to think of a way to go back in time and somehow stop this torture and pull the little dog to safety. I think I'll be looking for ways to pull that dog out for the rest of my life."

Vick did all that and more to his dogs, and even threw family pets into the pit with fighters and laughed while they were mauled, according to a witness who testified to federal investigators.

I have heard about some of these atrocities that he did.............How anyone can do such a thing is amazing, this is not a normal person by any stretch of the word.  This is something that is part of his character, and not something that can be corrected with some prison time.

I believe that some people do deserve a second chance to fit back into society, but no ALL people. As Ex stated, we do not let Child Molesters near children ever again.  We keep many convicted murderers in prison for life.  What Vick did was evil.

Baseball kicked Pete Rose out for "allegedly "gambling" on baseball, on his OWN team.  It was not evil.  He hurt no one, physically.  The NFL could take a real stand against this crime, and shun him from making a living off of this sport.

So none of you actually believe in the "corrections" portion of the institutions holding that name then. . .???

You do not believe anyone can be rehabilitated, or change their ways after being shown how wrong they were?

Why don't we just then kill all prisoners and those convicted of crimes???

Who said KILL him?

My opinion is, this was an act of evil.....and the NFL is eager to use this guy to make a buck....there are some things in this life that are plain and simple....WRONG.  This is one of them.

Yes, some people do deserve a chance to prove themselves again.  Yes, SOME people can be rehabilitated, and change their ways after being shown how wrong they were...without a doubt.....
