Try Ben-Gay and Black Jack. Put the cream on your head and sip the whiskey.

I thought Black Jack was gum!!

I moved back into my teaching trailer after a two year hiatus in the building.  My body and allergies have to get reacquainted with the various histamines that lurk in there.
Take time to smell the roses.

You keep forgetting a lot of those jobs have been temporary government jobs created by the funds, like census workers, and are not permanent private sector jobs.

Hell, we might have some more jobs that will last longer, like at least 5 or 6 years and longer, maybe forever or our life time.   Cleaning up the oil spill one of your favorite big corporations BP did.

me - your source? I'm curious how much "a lot" is.

Besides, to the person trying to feed his/her family, temp is better than no job. You seem to forget that when people get paid the economy is stimulated. Temp or not there's opportunity there.

Last question, what difference does ot make as to whether or not the jobs are private sector or not? A job is a job.

The difference is that the census workers would have been hired anyway it wasn't a "new" or private sector job which would continue to stimulate the economy so they really don't belong in the figures since they weren't created by the stimulus money at all.  Nothing the current administration did helped create those jobs.

I found Henry's "13,000."

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/upcoming-jobs-report-looks-even-darker-2010-07-01?reflink=MW_news_stmp

In addition, payroll giant ADP's tally of private-sector jobs showed a gain of just 13,000 new hires this month...

The 13,000 is ADP's June gain number. ADP is used by many company's (including mine) to print payroll checks. But they aren't used by every company. And the 13,000 is only for June. Sandy's number (from the source) of 682,370  is for January 1 thru March 31, 2010.

Since the census folks don't show up until April and May, deducting them from the total is not necessary, me. If I were grading you and Henry for either math skills or research skills, you would both flunk.

What have I been screaming about, for what you guys may think forever.  But the Republican are willing to destroy Obama and this country, even tho it takes a Hoover Depression.

I'm quite sure that forcing our unemployed people into starvation and homeless is part of it.  At least the 1 million people were putting the unemployment checks back into the economy.  Not investing in jobs out of the country and over seas. Like tax cuts for the rich and the corporations.

It seen every time the Colts want more money, the team owned by a multimillionaire (a self made man?) playing his million dollar players.  They tell us that Indianapolis benefits $5 for every dollar spent coming to the Colts game.  Wouldn't that be the same with unemployment checks.  5 to 1 in dollars spent.

why is it everytime I make a very valid point, you guys get all caught up in "sources"........my source are correct, but the bigger point being is .... we spent 787 BILLION $$$$ for a stimulus bill nearly a year and a half ago....and our unemployment is STILL hovering around 10%!!!....Obama said IF we pass this bill unemployment would NOT climb over 8%....yet it jumped to 10%....and has NOT come back down.....

can we admit, that the stimulus bill has NOT worked?.....

Things would be a lot worse without it.  If your Republican Party with good old Newt and George W. going such a good job of destroying our economy, we wouldn't be in such a bad condition.

But what I don't understand is you crying and boo hooing about all of the money we have spent trying to get us out of your mess.  Crying like it all your money.

You are right paying the lowest tax rate you have ever  paid.  The amount you pay in taxes for the right to live in the United States of America wouldn't fill an eye cup for a fly.

Yeah, why would we want sources? I mean it's not like you'd use skewed information to support your point. </heavy sarcasm>

Without facts (verifiable sources) your opinion, point, comments are baseless.

This is a perfect example. You attempted to paint a picture that only 13,000 jobs have been created. Shame on you!

I know it not Easter, but dumb bunnie, it has worked.  WE WOULD BE IN A FULL FLEDGE DEPRESSION.

And you would be layed off and not drawing any unemployment, because your Party doesn't think you deserve any.  No matter how much you have kissed up to them.
