Remenber the old saying.. it just takes one bad apple. try to stay positive and I bet the next call will be a good one.
If I had a dime for everytime some one has said they will "sue me" or that they would "have my job" well I would have some money.  Come to think about it I would give them my job.. it is no picnic.  But then again .. its the only thing I know how to do.
"Every post, even the worst ones [sic],

who posts it.".. Auther unknown.

I think I called him something other then an oddball jerk (not on the phone, but after I hung up, of course).

Thank you, FTW, I will think about that. I don't know if I'm more upset at him for threatening me or at myself for crying and letting him know that he upset me. (I cry whenever I get mad or upset, can't help it)

Isabelle, the next call was actually a good one. It was my hubby.
As far as I'm concerned today, they can have my job also. I do have a pharmacy certification I can fall back on in a heartbeat!

Cache, you SO remind me of myself....I cry when I'm mad or upset too, and it makes me crazy!!

And I know what you mean about jerky policyholders....I've got one guy that literally makes me sick to my stomach to have to deal with. He's just the most unpleasant man I've ever had the displeasure dealing with. He had me so upset one day that I actually told him I don't make enough money to take the crap that he gives me each month. Since then, he's actually been somewhat civil. Anyway, don't let him get to you.....he's totally not worth it!

Thank god I don't have those kinds of customers. I've had some try, but I just usually just sit and let them vent while I sit and spin around in my chair (thank god for cordless phones.) My boss thinks its funny. He took one call from me one day when this lady called screaming about something, have no idea what because I couldn't understand her, but it turned out that she was mad that her policy had been transferred to an agent in Fishers when she lived in Beech Grove. Her old agent was fired for some reason, but she didn't want a Fishers agent because "You people are just PLASTIC!" She yelled that at Bill, and I heard it across the room (while still spinning around--hey it was fun) and I nearly fell out of my chair in a dizzy laughing fit.

Looks like I've come full circle.

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

uhm....maybe it's not him..maybe it's me.  I have a ton of patience, I can wait on someone to notice me.  Apparently he can't.   I'm ignoring him.  He's not liking it. I gave up on him.  Don't feel the need to tell him.  I'm back to waiting on being noticed again.

being noticed? not my ex...not someone new. Someone I've known for awhile.  Like I said, I have a lot of patience. I can wait until it never happens, too.

So from where did the nickname come?

hmmm....guess, I misunderstood the question.  the cowboy was someone new...like in the last 5/6 weeks..he gave himself the nickname.  I give up on him.  The last line...being back to waiting on being noticed...that is about someone I've known for awhile. He has no real nickname.  Has a definate aversion to hiding behind them, unless he has no choice.
