Thanks for the shared empathy, FTW.

The hours on the road can be 10X as weary without a good tune or five to hear and/or sing along with to pass the time.

My husband just spent $2000 on a bedroom set...and I haven't even seen it! Ohh boy. I know he has good taste, but I would have liked to have a say in it!!  :wall:

Wow...why don't you send him MY way after you've seen it...I really need another couch for the formal living room.

~Daisy~

Oh Sunny, trust me. He'd love that. We've talked about his shopping obsession, AND he has good taste. He picked out our living room furniture--pre children--and did a great job. Well, now they are destroyed but they were once white on white tapestry, feather filled cushions and tons of feather pillows with a fold out bed in the big couch, an oversized chair with an ottomon (which is somewhere on earth, but I don't know where it ended up...)

OMG Google is the best. From the invoice I have here, I was able to find the bedroom suite he bought!!

Or wait...He did mention that it has that platform thing around the bottom. I think it may be this one:

Uh oh...if its the 2nd one, I have to buy all new bedding because my current stuff won't work with that type of bottom. Oh, and he didn't buy the armoir because after the dresser and nightstand, there wouldn't be any room for the armoir yet...but we are getting ready to knock out a wall in the bedroom....

He didn't get that piece. Just the bed, dresser, and nightstand.

It's beautiful, Daisy...we already knew your husband has good taste -- and the furniture confirms it.

~Daisy~

We are sooooo backwards as a couple. He has better taste in furniture and clothing than I do, but I'm the football fan.
