Since you quoted my post, I must assume that your comment is directed at me. I didn't accuse you of being mouthy. You had denied calling the Troll naive, and I simply pointed out the fact that you did. Do you really think I'm going to ever cut you any slack when you post false statements?

   If you read the Herald Bulletin newspaper, the Red Brick Inn is opening.  The have hired two of the old employees and took applications for employees Tuesday and Wednesday.

  Get off your couch.  Put on your job getting war paint and go there tomorrow morning.  Tell them, you really need a job and you are willing to do anything to get one.  Clean, paint, sweep and maybe kiss their ass to get a job. If you don't do it, you have been really lying to us.

Well I managed to miss this bullshit.  I will repeat this to you once again.......you don't know the facts behind my situation.  I'll go check out the job....but there is very little chance that I will be hired if I have to answer one particular question.  I USUALLY appreciate job leads, but I most certainly don't appreciate the way this one was given to me.   You are a grade A ass.   I know who you are, and here shortly, I'll know what you look like. Trust me no matter WHERE I ever get a job, if it's in a customer service position, I will happily pass you off to someone else.   I never want to acquire one red cent from someone who treats others the way you do in writing.

Olias - were you talking about the grammar pile or the troll pile?

My post followed Troll's but I was actually speaking to everyone, that I encounter on a daily basis (forum, work, socially) who slaughter basic English.

Most everyone gets lazy, on occasion, but I think it's obvious that some really don't know about grammar and don't care.

I should have been more clear about my intent.

What surprises me is that the ones who are the most ardent against illegal immigrants and the "speak English" crowd are usually the ones  who do the most damage to our language.

Then again ... maybe it doesn't surprise me.
