You know, I just spent 4 hours shopping for groceries.  I'm entitled to tired eyes.  I'm not even on that computer, I'm on the laptop.  Everything is so much tinier here.

Now what mistake did I make in this post?

Just out of curiosity, do you run a soup kitchen, have a family larger than most city blocks can contain, or just like to shop for four hours and buy nothing?

Cranky eh?

I don't believe there is a grocery store in the world that could keep me inside for four hours unless being held hostage at gun point.  Trader Joe's can be done in less than an hour and there aren't many groceries with their variety of products (although they are a smaller store and don't have the same bulk quantities).

Ah, I agree; but you forget she indicates being visually challenged. Can you imagine how much time it takes to read all those labels with that tiny print in such a condition? No, I'd have left too. . .  :spooked:

I can spend that much time in a Wegmans grocery store.  If you've never been to one, you wouldn't understand!!  I can do an hour alone in the bakery!!

Crap, you're right.  I forgot about Wegmans, but four hours there would mean I weigh about 1/2 ton and I have a hard time reaching the goodies from my motorized shopping cart

Good call, though.

No silly people.  Where others shop for groceries for a few days or a week at a time. I shop by the month.  THAT'S how much I hate grocery shopping!!!  Get it all done in one day, then when I need milk and bread, I can just send 17 to the store. :D  And I don't grocery shop at just one store, I use 2 and sometimes 3, depending on if I want to visit the Hostess outlet.

So the routine is to hit Aldi's.....then maybe the Hostess store,  bring it all home, put it away, then go back out to Payless for those things that I refuse to buy at Aldi's. AND today, I had 2 of my kids with me at one, then 3 kids at the other, so if you can imagine how long it takes to go down an aisle with little voices saying....get this, get this, can we get this?    Uhm....it takes a bit of concentration.  And, yeah, I forgot my glasses so I needed a reader for the small print. LOL
Looks like I've come full circle.

Explains the crankness then. . .

Haven't you ever felt cranky just because? You know what I mean? You just feel like shit and you can't get a handle on why?

Or it could be that I've not hit old age yet, and that freaking monthly hit yesterday.

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Ok, I'm starting to get shitty.  I called my bank to ask them why my direct deposit isn't showing up in my account and they told me that they got started on their posting late.  In what universe is that appropriate?
