It really needs to rain.  Used almost all the rest of our water out of our rain barrel tonight.  :'(

My Grandmother use to collect rainwater, and washed her hair in it. God help anybody that did that now.  :spooked:

Our son-in-law fixed us up a real nice one out of a 55gal barrel.  It has a spigot and everything.  He hooked two together and got a small pump for theirs and thats how they water their garden.  He fixed it at the top so nothing could get into it but the water so we don't have to worry about leaves and such being in it and its plastic so it won't rust either.

When I was growing up if it rained really hard, I'd grab the shampoo and run out to wash my hair in the rain. LOL! I must have looked ridiculous, but talk about soft hair. :yes:

That's really cool. I have a friend here that did something similar to water her garden, the problem is that it never rains here. lol
