Well if he's trying to sleep...and they wake him up....and then he gets up and chases them around.  So much for sleep.  He just sent adrenaline rushing through his veins.  Wouldn't it just be easier to close the door?
Looks like I've come full circle.

:spooked: You sound like my husband. He chases them around with a dip net, if they act up when he's trying to sleep. Some of them are totally traumatised.

 Thanks for the idea!

They have a tendency to scratch at the bedroom door. That keeps him awake too. He needs his sleep but..... I don't believe in abusing animals. It doesn't do any good. Quite a bit of the time it doesn't work anyway. If you abuse animals the only thing you accomplish is scaring, or hurting them IMO.

Maybe you could get some of those squares like the carpet stores use for samples and tack them up on the door.

 OK.... here we go!!!!! I did my shopping at Walmart today. It's a Super Walmart so it's big!!! They have 100 checkout registers, and advertise on the radio that those registers are always open all the time to satisfy their customers.  Everytime I go in there, there are 4... yes... 4 registers going. Today, I had to wait in line for 1 hour, yes... 1 hour!!!!  It took me ten minutes to do my shopping, and an hour at the checkout. WTF is that?? I'm thinking of suing for false advertisement.... anybody with me on that?  LMAO!!!  Those assholes!!!

I'd call and complain to the manager for sure.  How many people were ahead of you anyway?

That would add wonderfully to the decor LMAO!!!  My cats are soooo destructive, that won't be stopped by mere wood, or carpet. We may have to go with steel LMAO!!!  :spooked:

There were 4 people with overflowing carts. I wanted to throttle the gal ahead of me because, she was buying school supplies for her sons. She bought 75 folders, notebooks, pencils, pens, etc etc etc, and the cashier stood there and counted every single one. I understand why but.... it took her forever because she kept losing count ,and kept having to start all over.  My Gawd, I was ready to kill someone LOL!!!

I'm not sure I would have been as patient as you were to have stood there and waited.  I'm sure the cashier could have been a little more efficient had she really tried.  It would have been nice if the manager or assistant manager had noticed what was going on and came over to help.

What was really bad was the fact that there was nobody waiting at the 20 items or less registers, and do you think those cashiers offered to help? Hell no!!!

I think they get in trouble if they ring up too many more than 20 items but you'd think they might have offered and explained later.
