It's $3.85 here at the cheap station. I don't know how anyone manages to drive a diesel.

That's why a lot of trucking companies have gone belly up. For one complete diesel fill up on a big rig, it costs a grand. What's really going to be bad is if  trucking companies can't afford to haul freight, and the everyday things that we live on can't reach us. Then we will have the problem of supply and demand. I don't think people have given much thought, to how bad it could really affect us. People don't realize, that the  stuff on the shelf at stores has to be delivered by truck. That stuff doesn't just fall out of the sky, and land on the shelf LOL!!!  :rolleyes:

There was a trucker ride in on Washington, DC a couple to three weeks ago. Apparently they decided to park rather than drive around the White House as originally planned for obvious reasons.

It costs more to haul the goods and services and the prices are climbing as a result. It's a mess.

A bunch of small trucking companies in my area have gone belly up. The truck sales lots are maxed out with used rigs. Last week, 2 major trucking companies filed for relief and re-structuring. Everythings going to hell in a hand basket at warp speed.  :no:

My Corolla gets 35 - 40 pmg. Good little cars. They're dependable, economic, and I would LOVE to have a 2009 Corolla!!! I haven't been able to talk Hubby into it..... yet....  :biggrin:
