It's still raining here. No sign of the dreaded flakes yet.  :spooked: When I left work this afternoon,snowflakes the size of half dollars were falling. I ran in to a store real quick,and by the time I came back, the Corolla was completely covered. I was in there 5 minutes tops. I've never seen snowflakes that big. Boy were they heavy with moisture. It was real wet and heavy snowflakes. Definitely not fluffy and powdery.  :no:

It's letting up now, but still drizzling and gusting winds. I had to take the little puppy out in between downpours so he could go potty. Our neighbors lost a big (40 - 50 ft.) pine tree last night, and it barely missed hitting our house. :eek:  We had just went to bed when the wind kicked up, then a few minutes later I heard a strange sound outside.  What I had heard was that tree going down.  No big cracking noises though, as it was pretty much rotted away on the inside.  I am glad it is "their" tree, so I don't get stuck cleaning up the mess.  Hopefully I won't have to call their landlord to get it cleared away.

This morning, I awoke to someone asking me if I knew where I was.  Then he told me I was in the jungle, called me baby, and told me I was going to die.  After hearing his voice, I wish I was already dead.  So I turned off my alarm and went to do the triple "sh".  A new day, the same routine...it's only February and I already need a vacation.
