It is so hard to adopt from some of these agencies.  They never leave you alone!  I think I'll go through a breeder when it is time.

I was fortunate in that we got our little puppy from a very close friend. If not for that we wouldn't have a dog right now I am thinking. . . just one more thing. . .

well the first one was, according to the rescue, a yorkie-poo. Although he was much larger than any yorkie Ive ever seen....and I think he looked more like a Havanese.
That one I could understand, because they had dozens of applicants for him, and IM sure whoever they chose will give him a good home.

The second one...who knows...he was just a lil mutt. One thing that works against me, is that they ask for a "Vet reference". Well, as I dont have a apet, and havent since I was a kid, I dont have a vet reference.

Another good source is a rescue. They have requirements too, but are different from many of the shelters. That is if you want a dog that is purebred. There's a rescue for just about any type of dog.

You're not alone BoD. I almost ditched the Corolla 4 times ,on my way home from work. I hate icy roads.  :mad: If that bimbo almost ran me off the road, I probably would've followed her to her destination, pulled her out the car window, and shoved both the phone, and camera, as well as my foot up her ass. If that had happened to me today, that's what I would have done, I'm having one those no nonsense days.  :sneaky:

I just  had a set of mud and snow tires installed on the 4X4 ;D  I had a set of "all terrain" tires before, but wanted something a little more aggressive this time.  Now I am ready for some snow AND mud :biggrin: :biggrin:

Got a new set myself a few weeks back, and transportation isn't the issue for me. It's the  constant bathing of the puppy that gets me irritated!  :rolleyes:
