That is easy to answer why. Emotional investments aren't easily dropped. Also, someone can put up some signs of cheating and not be cheating and it would be good to KNOW the facts before taking action. There is also the chance that someone else you trust is involved and its good to know the facts about that too. Sure it's painful, but the knives that can end up in your back can be even worse.

It's ugly, horrible and nobody should suffer though it, but it's not a perfect world and people do some really evil things to each other.
It's too bad there is sooo much hurt in the world. I try my best not to hurt anybody. I have enough love in my heart for everybody.  :smitten: :smitten:

Well, I thought of that but I didn't want to get sued by Kathy Griffin for stealing her material

Ok, that went "whoosh" over my head. Mind explaining that one to me? If you type it real slow I might get it.

I don't even know where to start on this one..... What would a holiday be like without one major dissastrophy? Here's mine.... I spent hours cooking, and cleaning, because I had company coming for dinner. Everything was ready to eat, everything was going fine, until hubby and I started to carve the Butterball. Upon making the first incision, it was revealed, that there was a fist sized rotten spot, in the bird.  :spooked: Hubby and I stood there staring at it, with our mouths hanging open, for about 3 minutes. Finally, I screamed, "Hey Mom, I need you to look at something out here." So, we all stood there staring at it stupidly, none of us could muster words. We decided the turkey was in the early stages of decomp.  :spooked: Man, Dex thought she was going to have a stroke.  :spooked: I grabbed the phone book, and started making calls. The stores were closed, and the ones that were open, didn't have any birds. I thought to myself, how am I going to pull this out of the fire? So, hubby called around, and we ended up getting fried chicken at a deli.I've decided that next year Mom is having Thanksgiving. So much for leftovers.  What a disaster.

That's horrible. I'd take it back to the store. That doesn't save your Thanksgiving, but maybe they can replace it and you can fix it after the fact or use it for Christmas.

I told hubby we ought to sue Butterball, for wrecking our Thanksgiving LOL!!! Now, I've got all of these leftover side dishes, and no meat to go with them.  Jesum Crow!!!  :spooked:  whats next?

I've got sunshine here, but it's only 36*. Burrrrr......  :cold: It's too cold to put up the outdoor Christmas lights today.  I hope it's warmer tommorrow.  For some reason, it feels like it's Sunday? Man, a few days off really screws me up LOL!!!

I woke up awhile ago, feeling like crap again.  I'm taking more Alka Seltzer cold plus and going back to bed.  (moan, moan)

Okay this is disturbing.  The news just said that there has been an arrest of a serial killer in my area.  How come I didn't know anything about serial killings going on until now?  I think that might have been important information for people to know!

Jesum Crow!!!!  :spooked: The cops never let citizens in on anything that big, because it invokes panic.  I think they should make people aware, that somebody is killing people. People need to be on the look out, and be able to protect themselves, even if it does cause mass hysteria. Usually, it takes many deaths for the cops to even consider it being a serial killer. They seem to be in denial about stuff like that.  That's why Gary Ridgeway killed so many before being caught. Same with Ted Bundy.

You got to consider who becomes cops and realize NASA isn't recruiting from their ranks. Now on the other hand, many criminals are pangalactically stupid and their actions seem like they are begging to be caught. After all, if your so smart, why are you a criminal? Smart people make an easier go of things legally. So that by nature tends to fill the rank and files of criminals with the intelligence range that grunting cops can deal with.

With all of that said, murders can sprout up out of about anywhere. This includes from smart people. Which makes one wonder just how many murders are actually found? It seems like the serial killers want to get caught, due to some claim to fame or something. Another thing, I haven't watched much CSI, but the times I did it was hysterically funny because it was a farce. I think it might be like a scarecrow to frightened "would be's" out of pursuing a line of thinking that could get them into trouble. If that is so, hurray, we play a good bluff in this country.

Detective work is NOT easy and its nothing like it is on TV. One of my best friends was Chief of Detectives and it disturbed me just how tough cracking cases could be from what we discussed. I met him when I was working as a very shady private detective and we become good friends during some very wild times that happened. We were like from different worlds and I could give him perspectives on things that they don't teach cops.

And lets say you do figure out the crime, you got to bag it up in an air tight way or some monster attorney is going to work out on you in court and make you look like 7 flavors of moron and crush your case like a bug.

In a perfect world, the police would work with the public, using the media to spread information and ask for information. And if the media hyped it and panicked the public, someone would waltz into their office and beat them about the head and shoulders with a ball bat for doing so, and be applauded for their brutality. Good public relations is something cops really don't have and we all desperately need them to have everyone's cooperation.

That IS disturbing!  They should have let people know so they're guard would be up!  At least there's been an arrest.

Okay well this doesn't make me feel completely better, but on the news they said they were able to link 5 murders together because he confessed to 3 and the motive (burglary) was all the same.  They just linked them now and I guess it was considered "serial" because there were more than 3.

Whatever, I still feel a little creeped out by that!

Wow, what a stupid jerk of a low life scumbag. Offing people during burglary is the hallmark of a mad dog moron. Do they have the death penalty in that state?

I'll bet he needed money to buy drugs.  Those people will kill you for less than a dollar.  They have no souls anymore.
