Actually they stopped the cable about 12 miles from the county that I live in and they don't plan on laying any out here any time soon.  In order for us to get off dial-up, we would have to sign up for some satellite network connection that costs a fortune.  I have DSL at work, so I'm not bumming too badly.

We used to have one of those HUGE hillbilly dishes in our yard for the tv but now we traded it in for a smaller DishNetwork hillbilly dish.  It ain't as fun to decorate for Christmas as the other one was though.   :biggrin:

Our neighbors use their old large metal mesh dish as a leaf burner.  Talk about hillbilly.
