Oh, yes! I am old enough. I graduated from HS in 69! But the "excesses"  of 60's dulled my memory of that period.

  That's one vice I didn't partake of.  Alcohol, women, boats, planes, motorcycles and nice cars were enough for me.  That's one thing, you're jealous of my money and toys and the fun I have had.   

  I didn't spend my money on drugs.      Of course cleaning hides for a living would make you do drugs.      Yes, I did all of this with out an college education, being just a factory worker.

A lot of the less fun jobs I took were because I came from a less fortunate home -- didn't have running water in it.

I earned my way through my degrees by paying for them with very low-paying jobs.

And, yeah, I've had my share of motorcycles and fast cars. Also owned a half share in an airplane (didn't get the license because my buddy and other half of the plane flew it) so we could fly to the Indy 500 pole day and race in Speedway.

Been there, done that (and lots of other stuff), and got the t-shirt.

You see, I don't give a shit what you own, what you've done, or who you are.

I'm only concerned when you act like a jerk and start calling my friends names and insulting the memory of their dead brothers by insulting all peace officers.

That's the only time I give a tinker's damn about your crap.

Oh, yeah, owned a deep-v SeaRay that I used on Lake Erie to fish mainly for walleye and crappie and travel the Great Lakes.

Also spent lots of time fishing northern Arizona (Hawley Lake) for Apache Trout.

Yes, I did all this and still managed to pay for several college degrees.

  Oh, my goodness coming from a less fortunate home.  My dad just started as a factory worker.

  When my dad brought us out here from Ohio in 1942 and he bought his first house.  It had a pitcher pump on the kitchen sink and we had the luxury of a two hole outside shitter.  He lived in that house for 68 years and he improved it each year.

  You just told me what you did, what you got to bitch about.  I work low paying jobs too.  But I didn't want to go to college, I wanted to work for one of the big three auto companies and be a skilled trades man.  I made and had my own state licensed plumbing contractors plumbing business for 40 years.

  You're the one who started it when I first came on the Zone.  I don't like authoritarian who stick their nose in other people business and are assholes.  You just don't know when to quit and neither do I when it come to being bulled.  I hate bullies.

  The bullshit about insulting one of your friend who lost his brother because he a cop is total bullshit.  I did not say anything about him.  But about 95% of the cops are liars, crooks and bullies.  Speaking of bullies, so are you and nothing you say will change that in my mind.  Nothing.  I know it too late to tell someone who 64 years old.  Grow up and be a man.  Benching 250# at 64, what a liar.        You are so funny.
