Much colder, windy weather and up to 4 inches of snow are in the New Year's forecast for central Indiana..
   
The National Weather Service issued a snow advisory late this morning in effect from 6 p.m. tonight to 7 a.m. Tuesday.
The snow could begin this afternoon and continue tonight, with a total accumulation by morning of 2 to 4 inches and west winds gusting to 35 mph.

Overnight lows should dip to the low 20s. Tomorrow's New Year's Day high may only reach to the mid 20s, with a 40 percent chance of snow showers and winds gusting to around 30 mph.

Wednesday's high may only reach 19. Northwest winds of 15 mph could drive wind-chill readings to 6 below zero.

It's been snowing here for a couple of hours. I'd say we've probably got a couple inches. It's tapering off . It's a real fine lightweight snow now. We had some BIG snowflakes awhile ago. I told Hubby if the roads are bad tommorrow, he has to drive me to work. He doesn't go back to work until Wednesday night. Right now the temperature is 26*, and the wind is blowin' at  1 mph.  :rolleyes: Now, thats a bit too windy LMAO!!! We're under a Winter Weather Advisory. GOOD TIMES!!!  :fireworks: :fireworks:

Well, it's 2:23 pm and we've got whiteout conditions. We've got 3 inches of snow,and no signs of stopping. GOOD TIMES!!!!  :rolleyes:

44 degrees and almost dark. . . If it does anything it is going to frigging rain and turn my yard into an oozing mud pit. . . :icon_evil:
