You almost have the tongue and groove done over the kitchen and sewing room?  Man, you are not only good at it Magistrate, you're fast, too.  Course, the house is far more impressive than words can explain.....

Here's Little Red Haired Girl (honest red-head not the bottled Cookie red head) and Magistrate holding the lamps which will light their entry ways!!!!

Here is a bigger picture of the pretty part....

OK, here are some pics of the cabinets. As soon as the LRHG gets the pics to me that she took tonight, I will show the T&G for her sewing room and kitchen as it is now: COMPLETE! I only need to put up the trim and that 3rd of the house is ready for finish.

I covered the cabinets to protect them, so the next pictures I post will look like cardboard cabinets! LOL
Something to Consider! God Bless!

gorgeous! are they walnut?

what are you putting onthe non-log walls? theones that are plywood now?

Magistrate

Actually, they are Cherry cabinets. Notice the pegs in the corners? It has alot of Craftsman styling, so I thought it would go well in the log home. This is what will cover the one wall that is not log, above and beside the cabinets. Between the counters and cabinets will be a tumbled stone tile.

which room is mine?? LOVE the stone!

Sunny

Absolutely gorgeous. Forget about coming to Thanksgiving dinner...when can my family move in?

In all seriousness, the cabinets are beautiful...is that a copper inlay in the glass? May I ask if you crafted them or purchased them?

We have SO much work to do on our home we're buying, I may be tapping into you & LRHG's resources over the next few months.

Oh, and the light outside is perfect! A rustic elegance...

The caning is copper! The cabinets are called "Lynchburg Cherry" and were made by KraftMaid.
The LRHG is quite artsy fartsy, and I have a fair amount of knowledge about alot of stuff. I am always happy to share what I have learned with anyone; so if you have questions, or need ideas, just let me know and we will do what we can to help you!

I love it! Its' been a while since I've peeped in on the updates. You're getting SO close! Tack on an extra room. I'll move in right after Sunny and her family gets settled.
