Why do you think that a thriving economy and a clean environment, can't coexist?

I never said they couldn't....I just don't think the kyoto protocol is the answer....

I think, we HAVE to get alternative fuels....and we are working on that as we speak...I think there are alot of great ideas out there and we GOT to keep moving in that direction.....but, for Al to tell people to quit driving SUV's, while he jet sets around the Globe makes me wanna puke....

the GWOT is NOT a success because we have too many spinless people out there that want to pull out and run.....

5 years is hardly cut and run.

IMO, if the world would rally around this war, I believe the jihad movement could be all but extinct in a very short time....

Just take another sip, Henry.

I'm not against making our world cleaner.....but, we got to be realistic about it...and not throw our economy into the crapper to make a few theorists happy....if the world economy crashes, then nobody will give hoot about clean air.....

Al Gore does not equal Global Warming. If you don't like his message then tune him out and tune into someone else's.

Perhaps the same outcome might have been realized had we not taken our eye off of Afghanistan and turned our sights on this fool's foray into Iraq.

On the other hand....if we keep polluting the planet until it is uninhabitable, then nobody will be left to give a hoot about the economy.

exactly, and who is against cleaning up our planet??????

I just don't want to clean it the way kyoto wants us too...I'm saying we need to do both, but be carefull about what we mandate our people to do, to achieve it...

Ahh, so screw the innocent Iraqi children trapped in the middle of our little quagmire.  That's real Christian of you.

me

C91 do you not realize that there are children as young as 5 who would blow us up just as quickly as an adult.  Yes, it truly sad about the innocent ones who are caught in the crossfire.  You probably think like good old John Edwards that this war is just a bumper sticker don't ya.
