I'm with you Beg.  Global warming is a farce brought on by a person who has a lot to gain monetarily by selling "carbon credits".  Can't people see where he is trying to go with that?

I'll admit the Fox news thing is something I like to toss in because it's true, but it irks Fox watchers. If it's such a creditable news source then why feel defensive?

As for being old enough to experience weather,  I think most of us have, but what many of us haven't done is scientific experiments on the changes in the weather and the effect of pollutants, deforestation, overpopulation, etc. Scientists have though and their findings leave absolutely NO doubt that humans contribute to the acceleration of Global Warming. Have you read the report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change?

No, it is not a failure unless we pull out.  If we do that it will be like an admission of defeat.  In the meantime the military shouldn't be having to worry about whether they are going to be paid or not while the dems pull their little tricks with the funding bills.  I still think terrorists are the bigger threat.

Don't ya think Gore has a little bit of monetary interest in the global warming thing there?  Don't you think he profits by making sure he can convenience people it's real?  Do you think if there was no money to be gained he would be pushing it so hard?

What "gripes my butt" is that every time global warming is mentioned the right wing jumps on the "Slam Al Gore" bandwagon. Put the message in Bush's hands and y'all would be lapping it up like cream.  Gore is not the 1st person to alert the world of Global warming and he won't be the last. Scientific evidence supports it. Period.

Yeah well, they had 5 + years before the Dems took over congress to "win" this thing...but...that's right there wasn't a definition of win or even a goal in mind and the US is actually less safe than it was when it started.

This war on terror is the biggest threat this world has ever faced....this is not politics....when we was attacked, the political walls came down...there was no repubs or dems....we was americans, who witnessed the jihad in front of our eyes....they WILL do it again, people...
we took out hussein because EVERYBODY felt he was capable of harming others or us, if he could get his way....we took him out.....

we got to quit playing politics and defeat those who want to continue to do so......can someone explain to me, who is pulling out, going to keep us safer on this war?.....do you think that, if we do this, they will stop?.....we ARE destroying them by the minute right now....if we pulled out, we would HAVE to wait until they attacked us again, before congress would have the gonads to do something again....

My opinion is, big deal, if we can make our global temp cease by .007 degrees by the year 2050.....our MAIN focus should and must be on those who want us dead.....

I'm not against making our world cleaner.....but, we got to be realistic about it...and not throw our economy into the crapper to make a few theorists happy....if the world economy crashes, then nobody will give hoot about clean air.....the kyoto protocol is NOT the answer.....our own congress knows better, that is why is was a landslide decision not to ratify it....It is obvious that Gores approach to this is not effective ...had he would have claimed the moronic lies, like the ocean will rise by 20 feet in the next few years a the Himalayan glaciers are shrinking" due to global warming...and MAYBE he would get attention more people....that is just clearly the way I see it...
