MIL sent me an adorable hat--it's red and made of a really soft, loopy kind of material.  Kind of looks Auntie Mame ish --LOL

Hubby is taking off for his annual duck hunting trip this Friday and I get to assemble my chickies for a girl get together!
Can't wait--it's always a blast.  Last year our theme was M&M --martinis and movies.

Don't know what this years theme will be---ideas anyone?   ;D

You could always do a M&G night (martinis and gossip) and throw a couple of movies in for good measure... :biggrin:

Had my "chickie" party last night.

Invited all my best chickies over for an evening of fun and festiveness.  We're calling it Swampapalooza '08!

We had a BLAST!

Got down to 18 degrees by midnight but we didn't notice -- having far too much fun!

My face still hurts from laughing all night!

DAMN  I needed it!   :smitten:

They are fun!  I'm sooooooooo glad we didn't take pics!  Lord knows where they would end up--~Giggle~

I like palling around with my fellow estrogen buddies!  3 of them have little kids so this was the first time in a long while that they had the opportunity to get out of the house and do "adult" stuff.

One fell asleep and spent the night -- damn, I can still hear her snoring   :biggrin:

Glad you enjoyed your party Tallulah.  I am sure you needed it.  I admire you for being a strong woman during all this and hope nothing but the best for you.

Sounds like an awesome time was had by one and all.  :yes: I'm glad you had fun T. My face never hurts from laughing or smiling, my many years of grinning, and smirking has made it tough LOL!!!  :biggrin:

Thanks, girl.  This place has given me a much-needed place to vent and I sure do appreciate the opportunity to do that!  And, appreciate people like you for all of your support.

Sunny moved into the working girl mode and her job leaves her no time to play on the web, unfortunately.  I miss her a bunch -- she really was "Sunny" you know?

I need more parties.  Maybe I can be a cancer-support party planner?  Why not?   :biggrin:
