There is no problem, here pal... ;)....I didn't twist no words...

I beg to differ.  Again, here are my original words on this thread:

...I'm left to draw the conclusion that in the best case, god simply sucks, or in the worst case he's just a prick who enjoys fucking with people.

Here, again, are your words:

you can say what you want....you are the one being a prick right now....you slam Christians all the time on here, in your nice little way...then you don't have the balls to stand up to what you said or what you mean....am I right?

No Henry, he's didn't slam Christians. He's talking about God letting down the people who believe in him.

And that's what I understood too. So I just gave alternate Science Fiction theories on why that could be.
Looks like I've come full circle.

Ah, and more name calling from the supposed Xtian when your belief system is challenged, and even further, when clear evidence of your comprehension problem is pointed out.

< sigh >  I'll stand up for what I said, and meant, yet again.  Here is my post:

I'm waiting for you to address this original post, and not, as is typical of Xtians, take is as a personal affront.

Locutus, I'm going to take the high road here and apologies to you for my remarks...they were un-called for....I, let your responses (and others on here) about Christians, get the best of me.....starting with the x thing, and your remarks about God....they are your opinion, and I honestly, with all my heart do respect them....I totaly disagree, but, you are a classy person on this forum and have been ever since I met you.....I, have many excuses, but, I will keep them to myself......I DO take my Christianity very serious, and my love for God....I, take it personal sometimes, but, this IS a public forum, and I chose to be here......so, again, I apologize... :)

I don't mean to offend, but I do like to foster discussion of questions that are hard to deal with.  If we can all discuss them, we'll all be better off.

Hopefully, I won't be kicked out of the Bar and Grille for Happy Hour this week.  I'm having a bad week on the road, and I'll need one on Friday.

Yes, I did.  I didn't like the fact that 80 minutes worth of debate was condensed into less than 20 minutes of air time.

Although I do think that Cameron and his mentor put forth the intellectually bankrupt position of "intelligent design" as the crux of their argument.

Unfortunately, neither side was given enough time on the air to adequately express their views.  They were reduced to a few snippets of both sides, commingled with commercials and the comments of the host.  It was really a letdown given how much the show had been promoted as a great debate.

I was disappointed.
