QuoteTheir spirits have not evolved enough to allow them to move forward.

That is the whole purpose of life.  To evolve.  To get to that point where your spirit lives it's eternal life in peace.

Exactly my point. These zealots want to threaten our eternal spirit with eternal damnation lest you toe the line and do as they say; supporting their greed for personal power and wealth within the physical world. Hence, their spirits are not evolving properly or as planned and they are destined to repeat the physical stage of life within a lower life form, (for those believing in such), or repeating yet again their life plan blueprint, (for those who believe in that).

and just where did you get these set of rules from PH?

Partially from various middle eastern beliefs, and still others from people like Sylvia Browne. You really ought to read her books Henry. At least read "Life on the Other Side".

Sure, I cherry pick sometimes from various beliefs; but when it is right you can feel it. Or at least I can.

EDIT: And before you say it, your "feeling it is right" is being brought on by centuries of preconditioning. (AKA Brainwashing)

I have watched Sylvia Browne on TV and have found her interesting....but, after googling her, her ability to predict the future is comical....

PH, all the information you have collected to form your opinions have been written by men....and human-constructed premises...and, people like Sylvia Browne are making money, selling their human contructed ideas for a great deal of cash....and yet you find a great deal of pleasure in ripping apart Christian beliefs?

btw, I do find Sylvia Browne's topic of the "other side" very, very interesting...I have NOT read her book, but, someday, I may...

I, personally, am not real thrilled with Sylvia Brown, nor the multitude of other psychics out there.  In my belief system, those that are gifted with the ability to contact the other side, should do so with no expectation of a reward.  The gift is given freely to us, we should freely use it to help others when necessary.  That's just my opinion though.

And mine as well. I never said I liked the woman or believed her 100% ability to predict things. But she can indeed speak to those that have crossed over. I know from first hand experience. And in person the woman truthfully makes my flesh crawl. (yes, I HAVE met her twice, but that's another topic).

I agree with a lot of her writings around the other side, and a lot of her "philosophy" around that topic clicks with me.

Henry, I'm not trashing xtians inasmuch as I am taking the zealots to task, and I take far less enjoyment from pshawing their practices than the practitioners do themselves. They fleece the flock every week!

My opinions and personal beliefs are based upon real life experience that tempers the words of humankind. I have rid my system of the brainwashing of mainstream xtian propaganda and now listen only to my true guide, my inner self. While never perfect, it does always steer me true and most times from the morons of society and its belief system.

You know. . . really. I'm quite tempted to just keep my beliefs to myself these days. I would be most content to watch humanity creep and crawl about; bleating in agony as one ass weasel after another fleeces them of their earnings and strips them of their spirit.

Would that be selfish do you think?

Yes, if someone is interested in hearing your belief, there is nothing wrong with sharing. It may be something that they have never heard before.  We aren't going to go knocking on doors and inviting people to church, or telling them that our way of believing is the only true way, but if THEY knock on the door, wouldn't it be great to just preach right back at them. LOL

anymore selfish than me presenting the Gospel?  and you ARE trashing Christians, at least I "feel" you are...when you make the bold statements like you make, with the assumption those who believe in Christ and practice his teachings in a Church are "fools", because of the corruption by man for financial gain...of course I am paraphrasing, but that is the jest I get.....but, then you exert your beliefs, on your "inner soul"..when, basically, that is how "most" Christians that I know are lead....by what I/we call the Holy Spirit, which guides "my/our" inner soul...

I for one do not go "preachin"...I don't feel any "calling" to do such a thing.......I have NO problem with others telling me of their beliefs, I find it facinating to be honest.....In my opinion...we ALL have to find our own way throught this world....

PH, I find your belief system really facinating, and agree with alot of your theories....or beliefs......I hope you do NOT keep your beliefs to your self, I enjoy reading about your ideas....especially about those who have 'crossed'....
