Not sure if you have noticed, but things ARE getting fixed....they haven't pandered to NO ONE!  I'm not super rich, but things are MUCH better for me right now. My Company I work for isn't Corporate America, but it is doing MUCH better right now.

I can go on and on and on if you want...Sir, the GOP and Trump, despite your personal hatred IS INDEED very busy fixing things....

Funny how the alleged purveyor of fake news somehow automagically become the tellers of truth when you need it to support a skewed and totally off base perspective.

That  39% "investment" increases is 99% stock buyback programs; benefiting no one but the corporations executing them. They throw you a scrap ("Bonus") and suddenly its all rainbows and puppies. .  . 

I could go on but I don't see a reasonable outcome in doing so. I have better things toward which my time can be devoted.

No need to get nasty...this IS a forum and YOU suggested he and the GOP wasn't doing anything and I just proved to you beyond any shadow of doubt that HE/They ARE indeed doing very much and our economy is PROVING it.  His popularity numbers are growing too.

The "zero-tolerance" policy he announced [in May 2018] sees adults who try to cross the border, many planning to seek asylum, being placed in custody and facing criminal prosecution for illegal entry.

The lie inherent in the "zero tolerance" policy is that it isn't zero tolerance at all.  The resources don't exist to prosecute everyone entering the country illegally so most are being handled the way they always have been...they record their information and set a date for them to appear at an immigration hearing.  Some go to their hearing, some don't.  Brandon Judd, a 20 year veteran of the Border Patrol and now the president of the union that represents them admits that only 10-20% of the people coming in are being detained.  Rather than including the families with children in the 80% that are not detained, the government is specifically targeting that group to use those children as bargaining chips for Trump's stupid wall (that Mexico is going to pay for).  This country has never before seen such a heartless, cynical administration.

You know Ex, that is a good question........the only thought that comes to mind after pondering this was, unless we get back to a "free" market, that is not artificially stimulated, as it was for the last several years....the answer it probably not. I think we are in unprecedented times.  I am interested in seeing how the Trump economy actually plays out in another year or so....IF, it ever happens. I am kind of optimistic, but who knows what is around the corner that could throw us back into another recession.
