Best title ever!  Could these people be any more delusional?

I don't think so.

We appear to be in the throes of RW national insanity.

How in the world could a political party, a government, or a society not understand the necessity of universal healthcare for all citizens?

Law of Logical Argument - Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.  ;)

"You've probably noticed that opinion pollsters go out of their way to include as many morons as possible in surveys ... I think it's dangerous to inform morons about what their fellow morons are thinking. It only reinforces their opinions. And the one thing worse than a moron with an opinion is lots of them." -- Scott Adams

In other words: Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  ;)

"It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it." -- Upton Sinclair

"Hitler is gone, but if the majority of our fellow citizens are more susceptible to the slogans of fear and race hatred than to those of peaceful accommodation and mutual respect among human beings, our political liberties remain at the mercy of any eloquent and unscrupulous demagogue." -- S. I. Hayakawa

 :spooked: I think a lot of people don't read the newspapers any more, or listen to the news or otherwise keep up with what's going on. I have  family and friends like that, who have the attitude about Trump of "Let's give him a chance, see how he does."  One of my sisters said that to me recently.  Part of that attitude is, it seems, that some who grew up poor and then bettered themselves, went to college and/or got good  paying jobs, have no sympathy whatsoever for those less fortunate for whatever reason.

They had better hope that they hold onto those good paying jobs, and pay off those boats, cars, trucks, and other toys before they lose them. They'll be back to minimum wage jobs in a heartbeat after they lose them. . .

Yes, indeed.  I have this feeling of uneasiness that I can't shake because I DO read the newspapers and listen to the news. And things are getting crazier by the day. I keep thinking about what happens, who takes steps to impeach Trump, will it be too late,  ..... I guess Rachel Maddow's program last night made me really stop and think. She talked about the State Department, what is happening there (getting rid of the people who've been there for a long time, who carry the history of the organization).

That is SOP for driving wages/salaries down and profits up. Apparently something the government is now undertaking itself. . .

Network evening news featured a story about a local restaurant that is suing the government over the Raging Cheeto's restaurant located in his hotel, and the unfair advantage his owning the place delivers. . .

The building is owned by the government and leased by the Cheeto's company. . .

In direct contrast to the lease language.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Remember when we said Trump voters deserve everything they get?  And they're just getting started!

I can't believe that she, and people like her, were really that stupid in their justification of  voting Trump.

Seriously!  How is this defensible?

Abject stupidity is now the norm coming from the highest office in the land and his fucking supporters don't give two shits about it.

Yes. A scary joke.

As for Kellyanne, "I'm not in the job of having evidence." -- .

In other words, she's a parrot, and you can bet she chose those words carefully. She's a lawyer, and has reportedly been getting some attention from others in her  profession.

You lost; Get over it....

Point proven.

The trouble is, you're going to lose too.  You're just not smart enough to see it.
