It appears Flynn is going to sing if he gets immunity.

Reuters is reporting it.

I just heard on MSNBC news that his offer has been turned down. I wholeheartedly agree. Flynn is a very intelligent and dangerous man. His background as a Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency and association with Trump have given him  :spooked:   knowledge and power.

I heard it was turned down as well.

What was is that Flynn said in speaking about Hillary?  "Anyone asking for immunity is probably guilty.  :huh1:  :haha:

Bannon lost his seat on the National Security Council.  Apparently the grown ups are intervening.

I'm starting to understand why Putin was so interested in seeing Trump get into the White House.  I think Russia and China are working together to try to draw the U.S. into a war and Putin understands that Trump is just unstable enough to take the bait.  I have never been one who is into conspiracy theories but believe that North Korea's continued missile launches and Syria's recent use of a chemical weapon are deliberate provocations.

I'm hoping the other two members of the 'Football' team have the sense and wherewithal to "Just Say No!" if the Nutbag in Chief decides to do something really stupid.

Otherwise, IMHO, we cannot win a ground war with either China or Russia - or practically any country with a large army.

We've wasted too much money and equipment and far too many people over the past decade and a half or so to engage in another ground war.

We don't have the manufacturing capacity to support a ground war.

We would be left resorting to nukes - and from there, all bets are off worldwide.

"You've probably noticed that opinion pollsters go out of their way to include as many morons as possible in surveys ... I think it's dangerous to inform morons about what their fellow morons are thinking. It only reinforces their opinions. And the one thing worse than a moron with an opinion is lots of them." -- Scott Adams

In other words: Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  ;)

"Hitler is gone, but if the majority of our fellow citizens are more susceptible to the slogans of fear and race hatred than to those of peaceful accommodation and mutual respect among human beings, our political liberties remain at the mercy of any eloquent and unscrupulous demagogue." -- S. It's not Obama's fault either if that's what you're getting at.

Remember why?  I'll bet you don't.

I guess it was Clinton that signed NAFTA. Of course all the regulations piled on our manufactures didn't help.
